Global Gallery's sales provide subsistence-level income for over 110 artisans and their families yearly. The Store works with a group called Ten Thousand Villages, whose mission is to "provide vital, fair income to Third World people by marketing their handicrafts and telling their stories in North America."

Traditional clothing, musical instruments, and jewelry from all over Asia, Africa, Central and South America abound. The incense smells mysterious, the music playing boasts a hearty drumbeat and vocals in foreign tongues.
