Cheryl Krueger-Horn started Cheryl's cookies in 1981 with her grandmother's cookie recipe and a single store here in Columbus. Today, it's a multi-million dollar company that does business all over the country through its catalogues, web site and corporate clients.
Good Baked Goods
Cheryl's is known for big, soft, fresh cookies in individual packages. Cookies come in all the classic flavors: chocolate chips, oatmeal raisin, sugar, white chocolate chip, butterscotch, peanut butter and spice. They also sell decadent brownies and cakes. You can even buy raw cookie dough and bake them yourself.
Edible Flowers
If your sweetie has a sweet tooth, forget flowers and buy a cookie bouquet. For $39.99 you get a dozen cookies wrapped in red cellophane and mixed with silk flowers and greenery. It looks like a dozen roses but tastes much better.
