So I thought I would give Blocks one more chance. How stupid am I? There was no change in the service once again, The only difference is that I went in later in the day and a different day (Mon). It seemed like all of the girls that were there were like 12 and more concerned with being on their cell phones than doing their job. The manager that was there was rude and walke by me 3 times before she took the time to wait on me. Blocks needs to focus more on their food and customer service than on having teenie boppers working there. I asked for turkey with cheese on a plain bagel, is this what I recieved? No, why would they get my order right I didn't text it to them. I recieved turkey on an everything bagel with the wrong cheese and mustard. Are you kidding me. I will never go back here again. This is the Blocks on Broad st.

So I went in to have lunch about a week and a half ago. What a mistake. I was trying to eat lunch and I hear yelling, so I look up and see a very young dark haired girl yelling at another in the front about crazy things. The other lady tried to calm her but had no luck. I watched and this dark haired girl walked away yelling and the other went to the back, about a minute late I see who I think is the owner yelling at the poor girl about the dark haired girl. As i listened it became clear the dark hair girl lied to get the other young lady in trouble. That’s just the start of my lunch. I ordered a pizza bagel and it was burnt. I told the lady who made my lunch that it was burnt but she refused to remake it telling me she would give me a dollar off I think, I could barely understand her accent. I think she's from china. So my lunch was loud and nasty. This lunch experience was awful. I will never eat here again. The tables were dirty, most of the employees were rude and the owner from my take would be a nightmare to work for. All in all I found this restraint to be dirty, loud and very nasty. Take it from me if you want good food go to McDonalds.

Bad customer service leaves a bad taste in the mouth

Bagels, salads, great!

Customer service, The worse on the planet! You would think you would be able to talk to the owner about such rude service....no such luck...the owner is the rudest person in the building! She's rude to customers, rude to employees and even rude to the food. She dropped some of my salad on the table while making it, scooped it up and put it right back in my bowl!

Today I went in for a salad (yes, even after that disgusting act) and everyone acted like they didn't see me. A lady even came in after me and went around to the other side to order bagels and they waited on her before any one even acknowledged me. When I finally was waited on (by a lady the owner loudly and rudely demanded to "see what this lady wants") they tell me they have no lettuce.

This place is a tease...I want their salads so much but its like putting my hand in a whole with a salad and a pitbull...you might get a salad but you will probably leave there feeling like you've been mauled as well.

Oops Wrong Turn on Broad

"Would you like any vegetables on that?" "Sure." Only to find out that a piece of lettuce, onion, and tomaote are an additional expense to the already overpriced bagel and turkey. Did I mention they forgot the mustard. Oh yeah, I hope you have the thirst capacity of a small child because the size of the cup they serve their refreshments in it is only good for a gulp or two. Why does it cost an extra one dollar and fifty cents to have the jalepeno cream cheese as opposed to plain? The bigger question is why is this explained at the cash register. Sorry to say but this place is a rip off. I have had better quality at far better prices at the Motorist Insurance Cafeteria. I think I will stick to the Hot Salmon and creamed Peas at Cafe Motorists on Fridays for now on.
