Like You Work There
Walk right past the plants and gifts in the front of the store, into the back room. The shelves of vases and work tables make it feel "Employees Only," but it's open to the public. You're free to browse their giant walk-in refrigerators for flower finds.
What You'll Find
Flowers are stored in big buckets of water in the coolers. The selection varies from day to day, but you'll usually find staples such as Gerbera daisies, roses, and orchids. You'll also find a nice selection of greenery for accents or to use on its own.
Roses are Red, Roses are Blue
Starting at $8 per dozen and going up to around $48, their roses come in many shapes, sizes and colors. The vivid fuschias and pale lavenders are beautiful, and the reds range from bright to blood.
Don't Do It Yourself
If flower arranging isn't your forte, you can always order an arrangement.They also carry balloons, gift baskets and potted plants.

I have shopped at Blooms Direct for many years, and use them anytime I need to send flowers. I even used them for my daughters wedding last fall. The sales people there are very friendly and helpful, and the designers, I feel are the most creative in this city! I have to disagree with the two negative reviews on this site, you must not purchase or send flowers very often. The most unique thing about Blooms is that if I want a few flowers for my house, I simply walk through the coolers and pick something out, if I need help, someone is happy to assist me, otherwise, it's like walking through a refrigerated garden. When planning my daughters wedding, they did ask for a deposit, and with reason, they put alot of time and effort into putting a proposal together, and it was taken off the botto line of the wedding. As far as pricing, Blooms is a little expensive, but you get what you pay for, and after all, isn't everything expensive nowadays? In a nut shell, I highly recomend Blooms direct for any of your floral needs!
Pros: Just give them a price range-they will put together something beautiful!
Cons: Wear a sweater if your going to spend time in the walk-in coolers!

I looked into Blooms Direct for my wedding about a year ago. I met with one of the sales ladies (don't remember her name) and she was NOT helpful. She wasn't sure if they could get the flowers I wanted during the month I was getting married, but she said she would find out and give me a call to let me know. No one has called me since. I guess they just didn't want my business. She made no other suggestions to me, even though I was very open to them, and said I needed to make a deposit before talking specifics about floral arrangements. Why would I give them a deposit if I can't even talk to them about designs first? About the same time I was in a dance show and my mom decided to use them to send me flowers so we could see the quality of their work. She said the woman on the phone was flighty, pretending like she knew about the show even though she clearly didn't. My mom had to repeat the location many times and the girl kept saying something different. When the flowers came, they were just okay and definitely not worth the price. I have been in this show for 12 years and receive flowers from my mom every year and this was the only year that didn't have everyone falling over themselves to take a look at. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH GOING TO. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.
