The Scene
Rotolo's doesn't advertise. Rotolo's doesn't deliver. It doesn't have to because people are willing to drive halfway across town for Columbus' favorite pizza.
The Food
There's nothing fancy about this place, no goat cheese or pine nuts on these pies. The pizza is the traditional American kind, very saucy and loaded with gooey mozzarella. Toppings include all the standards, and service is strictly carryout. Public opinion polls about the city's best pizza almost always place Rotolo's at the top of the list. There are also subs and dinners including spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, ravioli and manicotti.

Try the baked rigatoni...they bake that great pizza cheese thru out ... I heard about it word of mouth It reminds me of the baked ziti I use to get in New York!!!!!!! Yummy Yummy

This is by far the worst meal I've had in at least a year. I ordered take-out. Although it was not busy, it took them 30 minutes to get me my order after being told it would only take five. I ordered the spaghetti which was undercooked and slathered in the worst sauce I've ever tasted. A note: heavy salt does not make up for lack in taste! The mushrooms in the sauce were chewy and tasteless. The order came with two rolls, one of which was so stale I couldn't eat it!

Cons: Terrible food, slow service.
