great. I went there, not knowing what to think, and i loved it! I had a burger and it was one of the best that i have ever had. I was with people that had meatloaf and steak, and they loved it. I also tried the triple layer chocolate cake, and it was amazing. Hint: Dont try to eat it all in one sitting by yourself, it isnt possible. I tried, trust me. It is amazing though. I highly recommend going!

Great Brunch. I didn't even know they served brunch until just recently...the omelets are wonderful - not too big, but very fluffy and light and with just the right amount of fillings - I would highly recommend them.

A swank neo-diner done up in shiny chrome and big, bold colors.. The Scene
Twenty- and 30-somethings come to both Cap City locations just to hang at the bar and munch fried calamari and big plates of homemade potato chips drenched in melted blue cheese. The decor, crowd and menu demands that you have fun; pick the booth near the stone fireplace for a cozier time.

The Food

The house specialty is a thick slab of meatloaf with a heap of mashed potatoes underneath and a tall pile of crispy onion rings on top. This is gourmet meatloaf to be sure, made with veal, wild mushrooms, and not a drop of ketchup. Mashed potatoes come in two versions--buttermilk and chive or cheddar with chipotle chili pepper. Go crazy: Get an order of each and make a meal of it.

try it. It's a great place for uppity comfort food. It's not too costly for the quality you can get. Any detractors are clearly afraid of food, this stuff is not haute cuisine full of foie gras, its good ingredients and a small creative twist on diner food.

give it a try. you have every other night of the week to eat at a chain store.

MEATLOAF and SO MUCH MORE. I heard good things about the meatloaf and they were all true! The Salmon is also excellent! And don't even get me started on the desserts-YUMMY!

It a little more expensive than your typical casual dining place, but is actually a GREAT VALUE for the quantity and quality of food you get. The Meat loaf is about 12 bucks, but the with the big portions I easily had enough left overs for lunch the next day!

Start with the Quesadilla, finish with the Cheesecake.

Nice Restaurant, Poor Sides. The food overall was good, the meatloaf, clamari, burger and veggie plate were all fantastic! However the onion rings, coleslaw, and fries were disappointing. This is supposed to be a diner and the fries tasted just like the fries I can get a Burger King for $2.00 less. The main dishes and appetizer were excellent, however. The chocolate martinis were great! Our waitress was fantastic and I loved the atmosphere. I will definately go back, but I wish they would quit overlooking the importance of the side dishes!

cap it off. The few times I have been there I have not had the pleasant atmosphere that everyone has told me about. I would not take children there, the people are rude.

Fabulous food, reasonable prices. Am always impressed by the food at Cap City and the prices are extraordinarily reasonable. Portions are huge so you always have leftovers for another meal or a late-night craving. My only complaint is that sometimes the services is slow and a bit lacking.

8. This is one of my fav restaurants, especially if I can get a table on the patio. The salmon is always prepared to perfection. My husband is a vegetarian and enjoys the vegetarian plate that they offer. The menu has many offerings to choose from. Wait staff if always friendly and efficient. I have found that I never leave disappointed.
