TERRIBLE!. This is the most terrible salon I have been too....I have maintained my long hair since the past 12 years and after moving from Chicago wanted to find someone who could trim/color it the way it is supposed to be...unfortunately, I landed up at Rapunzel's and the worse service ever!

They cut my hair by more than 4 inches and argued with me that I looked better than before...shouldn't the customer be the judge of that? On top of that, they over-charged me with the reason that it took more labor than standard!!

KEEP AWAY at ALL COSTS!

Best salon experience I've ever had. I have very long hair and this salon specializes in that. Dave and Darlene are really nice and total pros. You are in charge of your own hair at this salon and they do NOT cut off too much. My hair felt and looked great after the full treatment. Other reviewers are correct: Prepare to stay most of the day if you are getting the full treatment, even without color. It takes hours to dry under the low-heat dryer but it's SO worth it. I felt pampered and fabulous after I got out of here. I'll definitely be returning!

Exceptional experience. Worth every penny.. Dave gives you TIME to think, consider options. Hair coloring is fabulous. You'll be there for a LONG time,up to 3 people work on your hair, w/all the TLC you could ever want & no pressure here! Treatments last hours. Don't book your calendar closely on day of appointment...yes, they are working on your hair the entire time...with extraordinary results. After living in Boston and Silicon Valley, I know what excellence is...this is it...a rare find.

if your hair is long. This salon will not whack your hair off. The staff is the best, highly trained you can find! Colorists extraordinare. The best in advice to keep your locks long and beautiful!

A salon that loves hair. This is a salon that cares about taking care of your hair and helping you have beautiful hair for life, not just giving you the latest fad look or selling you expensive services you don't need. Every single employee is expertly trained so you never have to request a specific stylist to get the same great results. Long hair is beautiful, and they will help you find the beauty in your own hair.

It is also not too expensive, and has a student discount. And champagne on special occasions.
