They are wonderful people who truly believe in doing their best to help those with mental health concerns. Police officers and pediatric psychology are their specialties as a group, but each individual's personality makes him/her excellent for a specific subgroup. If you are a police officer or have a family member who is one, speaking with Nick Marzella, Ph.D. or Stephen Douglas, Ph.D. is probably best for you. Ellen Douglas, Ph.D. is wonderful with small children and has a special skill with those living with Asperger's. John Mason, Ph.D. can be a great relater to teens everywhere and has completed numerous psychological evaluations for children going through parental divorce; he is sometimes a nonconformist but cares deeply about each patient and each situation. The other members of the staff are all caring, concerned for your well-being, and listen readily. The business is in a great historical house and has excellent landscaping - it can be soothing just to walk by it!

Dr. John Mason saw my children and was wonderful. I have had experience with other doctors during my divorce and with my step-son and found Dr. Mason uniquely able to filter through the BS, get to the point and help families effectively solve problems. Thank you so much for quickly helping my family to mend and giving us the strength to resolve our concerns and maintain our strong, loving family.
Pros: Great with pre-teens and parents. Great with divorce situations.
Cons: Not surprisingly, it's really hard to get in to see Dr. Mason - but he is worth it!!!
