i have a an 2004 camry and all the sudden it started smoking bad. i took it to the dealer and they said i need a new motor and it would be 9500 installed. thats crazy! i called buckeye they had one on the shelf with 66k miles and had it installed by my local shop for less than a third of the price of the dealer. it runs great i couldn't be happier. why would anyone go to the dealer for a part when they can go to buckeye.
Started out positively as they had the parts I needed at a great price. When I asked about a return policy, I was told if I couldn't use any of the parts I had 30 days to return them, no problem.
When I got to my mechanic, they had already replaced one of the parts with a new one and so had no use for one of the parts. When I attempted to return the part, it was no longer "no problem."
I was first accused of finding the part elsewhere for cheaper, trying to sandbag them, then the 25% restocking fee was brought to my attention -- something not mentioned when I asked about the return policy. I was then told that most people would think of the people working in the yard in the cold i.e. their employees. When I decided to go ahead and eat the 25%, I was accused trying to return the broken part, that it was not the one they gave me.
I'm sure these guys have gotten screwed by these techniques in the past, but I have never had a worse experience as a paying customer, legitimately trying to do business. These guys will try to make you feel like a criminal, when it is they who are acting dishonestly.
Great Customer Service & Parts – I called around shopping for a car window. BAP had the best deal and said they would have it ready by the time I got there. Not only was it ready, a great deal, I was very impressed with their office. The customer service was great and I have recommended them to many friends looking for parts. Thank you Buckeye Auto Parts!
professional place that really has the part – So many many places I called said yes i have the part just come out and look. Who has that kind of time. they said they had it, when i got there they pulled it for me fast and i was out. that easy. no matter what the price was it was worth it for the convienance.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS BUSINESS. – DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS JUNK YARD, they sold me a 1000.00 dollar transmission, after my mechanic inspected it he explained all the problems. First of all nearly every sensor was cracked or broken, the fluid was completley black with small fragments inside, and finally the main seal was deformed and leaking fluid. When i tried to return the part the tried to tell me everything was fine and to put it in and see what happens, when i refused and demanded my money back they got hostile with me. They took $250.00 dollers of my hard earned money for a restocking fee. This is a horriable establishment and unless you like giving people money for trash i would stay far far away
