Columbus >Jack & Benny's
Editorial Review by Christy Buena. College students and the budget conscious flock to the eatery for affordable breakfast platters and burgers.
Best of Best Breakfasts. Best breakfast in Columbus, even though there is limited seating available. This would not change even if J&B's expanded as everyone has heard about this diner. Overall service has declined in last two years, but food is definitely worth it. Huge menu - something for everyone - quality ingredients only, no mixes, etc. like the big boys. Head on out and enjoy.
charming diner-type breakfast. Nice little diner that alwasy has a smile waiting from one of the friendly waitresses when you walk in. Small, but fun. Fresh cooked breakfasts with the best eggs anyway you want them. Not the biggest menu, but that's okay. for about $7, a person can get coffee and a choice af several items, watch the morning news and talk with the other clientele, or read the paper. Just a nice diner. Open early, so perfect for that really late night ender.
College Campus Favorite. Everything on the menu is superb. For partying college students, its sometimes hard to make it there by 3 pm for breakfast, and there is always a line but definitely worth the wait. Go for it all and order the Gut Buster. Remember to try something different every time.
Mix n' Match. It's certainly greasy, but sometimes that's what you want. My favorite thing at Jack & Benny's is that you can mix and match your pancakes, so I can get one banana and one chocolate chip if I like.
