Given the Runaround After 4 Tries!. My husband was looking to get his first tattoo and me my second. We have heard good things about Evolved from friends, so after doing some research on Evolved and other shops in Columbus, we decided to check out Evolved, and "Andy" in particular as my hubby liked his work displayed online. We were treated well when entering, but when my hubby asked to speak with Andy directly, he was short and abrupt with him. Told him to come back with his design or email it to him. Went home and hubby emailed design and message to Andy requesting an appointment for the work. Never received a response. Hubby called, talked to Andy, Andy told him to come in to the shop. We went to the shop and Andy once again gave us the runaround and actually told my hubby and I to contact another one of Evolved's artists to do the work. By this time we were starting to take the obvious hint from him that he didn't want to work on us. That very same day, we went to The Columbus Tattoo Co. and had our tattoos done and we are so happy with the work! We've already passed our displeasure along to a couple of friends and will continue to do so. Very, very unprofessional.

tattoos are ok, piercing not so much. This place has some great tattoo artists, piercers are horrible. My gf got 2 bad piercings here, and 1 awesome tattoo from Andy Ringo. I have gotten 2 tattoos here, and they are both awesome. I recommend them for tattoos, but go to the custom shop just north of their "piercing salon" and watch out for their "better than thou" attitudes. Why do tattooers and piercers have to be so arrogant?
