When I first looked into body piercings, Evolved seemed like a good place to start. I live on OSU's campus, so it was very convenient, and I had heard that it was reputable and what I was most concerned about, clean. A few of my friends went in first to get their noses pierced, both of which removed them because they were not healing properly after months. I decided to go to Piercology to get my nose done and it healed perfectly within weeks. A few months later I removed the piercing but decided to have it redone in the same location and I went to Evolved. Though there was little to no scar tissue, the piercer struggled to get the ring in, and pierced it at such an odd angle that to this day, which is over a year later, I cannot take the ring in or out without it bleeding. It scarred on both the inside and outside and took months to heal. When I went in to have the ring replaced, the piercer said my piercing was "tricky" which i assumed meant that it was done incorrectly, and it started bleeding. Considering they are the ones who did it, that's pretty bad. I later went in to have my tragus and rook pierced, both of which i removed because they were extremely painful and irritated after over 4 months. As far as customer service is concerned, I only met one piercer who I considered to be friendly. When buying replacement jewelry, I felt pressured to buy more expensive pieces even though I stated multiple times that I did not want them. They are extremely expensive, and considering the service that I received and complaints that I have heard from other customers, getting pierced at Evolved is not worth the hassle.

Every time I walk into Evolved I want to get more and more piercings! Their jewelry selection is the best I have ever seen in a shop. The atmosphere of Evolved is very friendly and clean as well. I even brought my mom in for her first tattoo! Thanks Evolved!
