Up-and-Comers
New young artists have trouble breaking through the elitist cliques and pretentiousness of the art world. Not so at Roy G. Biv. This nonprofit art gallery in the Short North Arts District is committed to emerging talents who need friendly venues to place their work in the public eye. Roy G. Biv does a great job with that. As a result, you can find some of the most unique, original and innovative art from the community in this gallery.
Special Events
Always a popular spot during the Short North Gallery Hop every first Saturday night of the month, Roy G. Biv throws a fabulous party. Most of the time, it's a fundraiser, since money for the nonprofit is tight. But many local artists donate a piece, local bands support the effort and volunteers do most of the work.
