Great neighborhood place! Their Reuben is to die for- my husband says it's the best he's ever had. I love their chicken quesadilla. It is stuffed full of chicken and flavor! We also love their onion rings. The girls that work there are the greatest and they are very friendly. The food is very reasonably priced and the atmosphere is fantastic. There is always something going on, yet it is still relaxing and friendly at the same time. We have been there several times now and I like the fact that they recognize us, even though they don't know us. Makes us feel like a part of the neighborhood even though we are from out of town!

Nice neighborhood bar/grill.... pizza is average though... Good service and safe friendly environment. Pizza was average..... not like the "other" Planks family of bars! Have not tried the other menu items.....

Awsome Pizza with Everything, Great Burger, Great Community Atmosphere.
Ok, it's a bar. It's bar food. That said there are menu items that stand out. The thin crust pizza with everything is consistently great. The crust is always just right and the toppings are fresh and piled on. The burgers are big, flame grilled, and cooked to order. Get one with fresh cut fries and vinegar and you're in there!
You can't beat Plank's in Grove City for atmosphere. It's one of the oldest establishments in town having been an inn more than 100 years ago. It has character. Present ownership is heavily into the local and Ohio sports scenes and has framed momentos on the walls but not the typical stuff like you'd find at a chain place.
One of the neatest features at Plank's is the "Community" table. It's a big round table in the center of the bar room area where anyone can sit and be joined by anyone. Many Grove City mayors and council folks have been known to have lunch at that table with their constituents...City Hall is right across the street.
In warm weather, Plank's patio in front of the restaurant jumps. It's the place to sit and watch Grove City go by. They open it whenever the weather is tolerable enough to sit outside. Wait staff is attentive to it even though it can't easily be seen from inside.
Parking really is not an issue for Plank's even though they don't have their own lot. The locals know that there's plenty of areas to park within a block. There is no charge for parking anywhere in downtown Grove City.
You can take children to Plank's. They do have seating in a room that is separate from the bar and also the previously mentioned patio seating. There are menu items available for smaller kids.
Don't go to Plank's looking for gormet food and a quiet romantic setting. Go to Plank's to hang out in a piece of living history, meet up with friends, have a drink, and some pizza or a burger and just chill.
