If you've never been here before, look for the suit of armor standing guard at the front door. Damsel is a small shop brimming with ladies finery. You haven't seen these clothes or tchotkes anywhere else in town. The stylish woman behind the counter most likely is the owner, who makes frequent trips to New York to pick out the newest looks.



The Merch


Damsel carries special occasion outfits and accessories in sizes 2 to 20. Much of the clothing can be described as cruisewear?loose-fitting, flowing garments in bight colors and rich textures. The jewelry is beautiful, with lots of handmade pieces in silver and intricate beaded necklaces. The prices are fancy too, with most outfits falling in the $150 to $350 range. The jewelry starts at $22.50 for a beaded toe ring.
