This place is great! I was a little weary of other reviews, but went there because they accepted my insurance and had an appointment open. This place is awesome! The doctor gave the best eye exam I've ever had and the glasses selection is better than typical places. Plus the people there are really nice and you can tell that they try hard and like what they are doing. If you are looking for an eye doctor or some glasses, I would go here in a heartbeat!
Receptionists are supposed to be friendly.
My first impression was not good, the receptionist was rude, no smile, and was discussing other people's inability to pay loud enough for the whole office to hear.
Everyone else was nice, friendly and helpful. They said the eye diliation would wear off quickly, I was still dilated 10 hours later.

Great Service, Family Friendly, Always Helpful!. I have NEVER had a bad experience at Rinkov Eyecare in my SIX years as a patient. They are professional and thorough and I recommend everyone when they compliment me on my glasses. Very upfront with their pricing and thoroughly explained the separate fees for eye exams, contact lens fitting, frames, lenses, and contacts to me and my wife. I appreciate this tremendously because I don't want to be charged a package price for the both of us when she doesn't wear contacts and I do. They also only recommended the eyeglass lenses that were best for what I do, which is work at a computer everyday! The don't try to sell me anything that I don't need. They even have a warranty policy on EVERY PAIR of glasses that I buy, frames and lenses. Some frames have up to 2 years FREE OF CHARGE! I was wrestling with one of my kids one day and my glasses fell off, they got scratched right in the middle. I took them in and they replaced them for FREE! You can't beat that! I'll be a patient for life!
horrible service. absolutley horrible service, son went without correct lenses because of office error. when i called to ask after 3 weeks of no glasses for a 6yr old, i was shrugged off and told i had to wait. never again will i go back!
Good service, great glasses. I am ready to get another pair of glasses and I certainly will be going to Rinkov. The people were all very nice, professional and accurate in the prescription (except the receptionist who was crappy every visit). Other than firing the receptionist, they have done very well in picking professionals who care and got me exactly what I wanted (even though I didn't know at the time). Thank you Rinkov, but ditch the receptionist..
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!. My brother bought a pair of designer glasses from here and the protective coating became wrinked within two weeks. I had to drive him to the eye center because he could not see enough to even drive himself and had a severe headache. His vision is very bad. He had decided to go with glasses because of his astigmatism. He is a very calm person and had just wanted to get the lens replaced and maybe a trial pair of contacts to tie him over until the glasses came in. He approached the receptionist upon arrival and casually took the glasses off to show her the wrinkling because she asked why he was there and then she rudely said "I don't need to see them and basically put her hand up in a dismissive gesture and said" I'll get someone who can help you", then she went back to being "important" at her desk. I couldn't believe her attitude and just sat there and watched , trying not to say anything. Then a young lady came out and basically told my brother that she would reorder the lenses but, they could not give him a trial pair of contacts. He asked if the doctor was in and she said no" He's at lunch. She also informed my brother that the office manager was off for the day. She was calm but, not helpful and could not resolve the problem at hand. She even said that my brother had to pay another 118.00 for the exam if he wanted contacts. He had just paid over 400.00 for the glasses he bought! He then asked for a refund because he still had a standing contact prescription at Walmart and just planned on purchasing new eyewear there since they were so rude and unprofessional. She said no refund was possible. He left .. as if to add insult to injury... the office manager called him the next day and said it was his fault for not having backup eyewear and she would not refund his money.!!!??? Ok? So he should have assumed that the glasses would come in defective? Maybe they should have a backup "manager"... who can handle customers.
