OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. My son went to Donatos for a group event. He took off his orthodontic retainer, wraped it in a paper napkin and set it on the table while he ate. When he returned home he immediately recognized that he has forgotten his retainer. I called Donatos, and was told that the party room was cleaned up, and they did not see a retainer. I was also told that not 5 minutes before, one of the employees took the trash out to the dumpster. I asked if I and my son could come back and pull some bags out and look through them (replacement of these retainers are about $200). The individual I talked to said that we could try that if we wanted, and he'd have another employee help us pull out the bags in the dumbster.

When we arrived at Donatos, the party room was indeed all cleaned up. An employee, Tom, saw us come in and immediately came up to us and aked us if we were the ones who where looking for the retainer. He then held open his hand and said he had found it - he had actually went ahead himself, pulled out the bags, looked through them and found the retainer for us. This was truely going beyond good customer service! OUTSTANDING!

By the way, my boy loves their pizza.

Bad Experience. Our last order was somewhat of a fiasco. When I ordered, the person taking the order had to leave the phone several times to ask questions. When we showed up to pick up our pizzas, as I had specificed "pick up," we were, after waiting 5 minutes in line, told that they were being delivered. I had to wait for another 10-15 minutes until the pizzas arrived and then the boy at the counter insisted on selling me the pizzas that had been dragged all over Hilliard insisting that they would still be warm, which they weren't. Then we had trouble with what they were charging as far as number of toppings and it seems that the menu has the wrong price printed on it. In the end I discovered that they put extra cheese on one of the pizzas that I hadn't ordered either. We also didn't end up liking the three ciabatta pizzas we ordered- they were too dry and didn't have any exciting flavour.
