Service is hit or miss
by LilyOU at Citysearch
I used this salon for the past couple of years for cut & color and an occasional waxing. I'd give it a hit or miss review.
I originally went to the owner, Luann, and had a pleasant experience the first visit or two. However, she is far too busy and/or distracted for my tastes. She has multiple clients going at once - one lady with her hair in foils, another waiting impatiently and me in her chair while she's simultaneously cutting my hair and gabbing on the phone with her vendors or others. She does an okay job but it's not worth it. Needless to say, I no longer use her.
The other stylists seem to do a good job and I used one of them for another 12-15 months. The back room staff are pretty friendly and seem to do a good job from what I've experienced and observed.
Finally someone can color Red Hair!!

I wanted to try Red hair (I'm a blonde) and Luann did the perfect shade with blonde highlights!! I LOVE IT. I get so many compliments on it!!
I also tried Lisa for Gel nails. They are beautiful and have lasted just as long as my acrylic nails did only much healthier for me.
I will be back!!
Don't swallow the fake reviews whole

I went to this spa earlier this week for a massage. It was a little overpriced and I thought it was a little shorter than it should have been, but the therapist did a fine job, the space was clean and nice, etc. However, I'm giving them one star because of deceptive marketing in these reviews.
I searched for the Retreat today to look at their services list, and saw all these reviews. I would really think twice before trusting a super eloquent, perfect grammer/spelling review giving five stars, especially when the review is submitted by someone who has submitted a total of one review in their whole existence. Just saying, Retreat, try a little harder if you're trying to trick us.
Just okay

All excited for a day spa experience at this establishment. Friendly folks but cold massage room (i missed a warm massage table) , no offer of a drink of water or coffee and just did not have the feel of a "spa."
Lisa did a great job doing nails and haircut. Owner could put some extra touches as noted above which could make the whole experience much more desirable.
Rude and Unprofessional

I am a market researcher and just spoke with someone @ Dublin and politely introduced myself and what I was calling about only to be rudly hung up on after her reply "Im not interested" well just for the record "I wasn't selling anything" and it's amazing that most businesses rely on our research statistics for they're marketing strategy but never want to participate TO HELP CREATE THE STATISTICS FOR ANALASYS. Whomever answered the phone was indeed unprofessional, no matter what I was calling for a simple reply such as "No thank you but have a nice day" as I would have in turn replied "Thank you for your time anyway , you have a nice day." Would have left me with a positive impression of Dublin! A little food for thought :" FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE LASTING IMPRESSIONS" I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND DUBLIN TO ANYONE AT THIS POINT!
