Horrible!. Last and final pizza I got from them had live crawly things on it. Check out Columbus Health Dept website for a list of violations for this location. Scary!

Best Stromboli in town and great pizza!. This place definitely has the best stromboli in Columbus and their pizza is great too. I've never had a bad experience with them. However, if you're ordering on a busy night, I reccommend just going to pick it up versus getting delivery as they get a bit bogged down. But, you definately can't miss trying their stromboli and their pizza beats the major chains by a long shot.

Can't give Zero Stars. Called and was told an hour for delivery. That was fine.

Called after 1:15 and was told pizza was on way, that they sent a few orders together.

I told them as a customer I shouldn't wait for other orders to get mine on time. they knocked 6 bucks off bill.

I told them I didn't want that. I wanted a timely delivery.

1:30 minutes. Called still no pizza. Was told it should have been there. Was offered free ordered. by this time I no longer wanted it.

1:47 minutes. Knock on door. Told driver "we don't want it anymore."

He said "but you ordered."

I replied " almost two hours ago you should have been here" I shut door.

Best Stromboli in Columbus- hands down, far and away!. This review is more of a response to the previous reviewer who "waited for 10 minutes and then left" than anything else. But I am a long time fan of Pizzano's!

First, Im not sure how they missed the GIANT sign that says "Place Order Here" right next to the cash register. The "apathetic" employee that walked by them in the dining room most likely thought they were waiting for their food to arrive (Normally takes about 10-15 minutes to get your order....Good things come to those who wait!). And yes, the staff may not always bend over backwards to make sure every little thing you need is in order. Keep in mind you're at a pizza joint and not a white cloth, wine and cheese restaurant.

Now...on to the place itself.

It was originally Pizzano's (and was superb), then was sold to some lady who screwed with the recipe and changed the name to Mama Giano's (or something close to that). She went out of business because she messed with a good thing. The original owner has since reacquired it and named it back to Pizzano's again...and brought back the old recipe that we all know and love.

So I cannot speak highly enough of this place. Every single time I bring a friend there for the first time they are blown away and somehow struggle to figure out how they have lived their lives up to this point without this delectable stromboli on a regular basis.

Do yourself a favor and check it out!

A Waste of Time!. My mother & I stopped by the Pizzano's on Sawmill for a quick bite after some shopping. We waited ten minutes before leaving!! No one ever came to our table to acknowledge our presence. Neither the door bell announcing our entrance nor the employee who walked through the dining room gave attention. Apparently this business has never had any customers judging from their attitude and bare dining room. Go to Iacano's next door instead where they know how to serve you delicious food!
