Food was fine, but service was poor. Took over an hour just to get through the meal and then we decided not to bother with any cake. Our server was also the bartender. When I complained to the hostess, she shrugged her shoulders and said "sorry" and walked away.

Worst Around. After working a 13 hour shift and thinking of Macaroni Grill all day, my wife, granddaughter and I went to the one in Dublin, Oh. We waited 15 min for a table even though there were 4 or 5 empty ones available (?). We ordered and waited for or food to come. Once the food arrived, my wife commented " the portions are drastically smaller". I ordered a pasta dish with chicken and mushrooms that had penne that barely covered the bottom of the bowl and 3 small strips of chicken. The entire entree was lukewarm. My wife's dish, while a different pasta entree, was basically the same, not much and lukewarm. What a disappointment. A $40 tab for around $3 worth of food! Avoid this place!

Performing chefs cook up rustic, home-style Italian entrees at this buzzing family restaurant.. In Short
A boisterous, all-ages crowd of pasta lovers pack this energetic Italian spot, where chefs clad in white hats and red scarves keep diners wide-eyed by showing their moves in the busy open kitchen. The menu boasts family-sized portions of hearty traditional fare, from antipasti, chicken and pasta dishes to seafood, steak and wood-fired pizzas. Signature plates include grilled pork chops, lobster ravioli, and penne rustica with shrimp, grilled chicken and smoked prosciutto in cream sauce.

Great chicken scallopini. The food is great! The only thing is the wait at times in obsurd and I think that they are a bit unorganized when a rush happens. Never have had a bad server, they are always great. The front staff has some serious work to do

Dissapointing. Reminded me of Olive Garden. The food sounds excellent on the menu, but everything was mediocre at best. It seemed that the waitstaff and cheffs didn't really care, the service was slow and apathetic, and the food was presently poorly and undercooked/overcooked depending on the dish. And the salad was downright limp and plain. There's much better italian in columbus.

Love it!. This is my absolute favorite italian restaurant. The prices are pretty good, and the food is awesome. I love their bread and dipping sause, and I can't get enough of their blackberry mint ice tea. If you haven't eaten here yet give it a shot it!

Fun Italian Food. Macaroni Grill serves great italian food, and the portions are huge. The Lobster Ravioli is incredible, and the Filet is a great surprise. The open environment is fun, and the help-yourself wine bottles and crayons fro the table are great additions.

8. My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon in Rome a few months ago and we went to the Macaroni Grille a few weeks ago not expecting much in the way of authentic Italian food. We were surprised, however, that the bruschetta we ordered was 100% authentic and delicious. The rest of the food was delicious too, but I'm not sure how many of the dishes we tried would be found in Rome. I did appreciate that the portion sizes were very reasonable, and not over-sized. I felt full when I was done eating, not stuffed. Overall, it was a very nice experience and I'm sure we will go there again.
