BEST AUTHENTIC CANTONESE NEAR DUBLIN!!!!. This restaurant has changed ownership a couple of time in the past 10 years but NOW current as of the end of 2010 the new ownership is the best yet. I eat at a lot of Chinese restaurants and I never get online to do reviews but this place is so good I wanted to let everyone know about it. There is a new Chef there that all of the Asian people in town know about. He is one of the best cooks I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. He cooks real authentic Cantonese style Chinese food and his consistency and quality is top notch. I suggest getting the duck rice noodle soup on a cold evening :) They turned me onto this dish from the separate Chinese Language menu they have. Ask them and try out some real authentic meals. Don't be afraid I even tried tofu there and LOVED it.

new owners, food still good. I have eaten at this restaurant many times in the past and have also had a chance to try it out after it changed ownership. The food is still quite good. Sure, a few things might taste a little different, but I noticed some changes for the better. Perhaps you'll find a new favorite. Talk to your server -- and you may also get to talk to the owners as well -- and give them your feedback. They definitely welcomed mine.

Odd little place, great food!. The restaurant is very small, the decor perfunctory, and the ambience somewhat lacking, but the food really is great! King's Garden offers an extensive menu, and will happily cook food to personal spicy preference. The steamed dumplings are especially delicious - as are the boneless spare ribs - and their pork lo mein is the best in town, imo. KG is well worth a visit for great food that won't break the bank!

Disappointed by food after ownership change.. King's Garden recently changed ownership (Early 2008). Although the menu remained the same, the quality of the dishes was not up to the previous level during my last visit. This is due to the fact that the previous owner was also the main chef. Unfortunately my previous recommendatons no longer apply.
