Ahh! Jody D. is truly a Magician!!!. When circumstances changed, after more than 20 years with the same beautician, I needed to find a new stylist and began studying women's hair everywhere I went: at the grocery, museum, school, etc. When someone's hair looked particularly good to me, I'd ask "Who does your hair?" I decided when I heard the same name twice, I'd get an appointment with that person. Thus, I came to Jody D and I am most definitely Delighted! Jody really listened while I described what I like and don't (hair "trickling" down my back because it's too long; having to use so much hair spray to hold a style that it'd feel like wearing a helmet, that kinda stuff). Then he made recommendations and voila! A new cut, new color and now I am asked "Who does your hair!?" Truly, Jody is an artist -- gentle, calm, funny, interesting and SO-O-O talented!!!! Thank you Jody!!!

BEST COLOR IN COLUMBUS. I just have to say, I've been coming to Jody for over 2 years and I LOVE HIM. I dye my hair blonde, and naturally have dark, dark brown hair. So I'm very particular about who colors my hair. Jody took me from dark brown to blonde and I've never been able to let anyone touch my hair since! Every time I leave LOVING my color and my cut! He is amazing! Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed!!!

Jody is fantastic!. I have been a Columbus resident since 1985 and have tried many stylists before finding Jody. Jody has been a large part of my fashion life for over five years (every 6 weeks). He not only listens and understand what I want, but he has an uncanny ability to put my natural color (no - not the gray) back in so I look as young as I feel.

Jody also provided styling services for a wedding I attended - it was quite fun and the “do” looked great! I don’t get to be fancy that often and Jody made the experience all the more memorable.

I would highly recommend JodyD Salon (and Jody) to anyone.

best of the best. Jody is wonderful! I've been to a couple of 'the best' by citysearch standards, but Jody truly does a wonderful job. I have difficult, fine/thin hair as is; and since leaving the salon my hair looks fuller and healthier.

Great attention to detail and wonderfully easy to work with.

Not to mention, the best cut and color ever.

So glad I gave a new stylist a try :-) Thank you!

Hooray!. Finding a new hairstylist can be traumatic! Fortunately there is Jody- he is fun to meet, listens carefully, and does wonderful work. A true artist.

He's got the touch!. I am not much of a salon girl these days, and even when I have been in the past, I never really found a place where I came out feeling more like myself than before I went in. However, with Jody, his calm and candid perceptivity accomplished exactly that. I went to Jody for a color treatment, with an idea of what I wanted to do (I moved to columbus from Maui last winter and have been missing the natural sun-kissed look I am so used to). Hardly, had I sat in the chair and Jody, without any prompting, suggested precisely what I had in mind. An hour or so later, after truly pleasant conversation and a to-die-for shampoo treatment, I walked out the door feeling like myself again. Jody is a delight, and I very strongly and confidently recommend him!!

Finally!!!!. I have struggled for many years to search for the hairdresser of my dreams and finding Jody has to put an end to my furstrations. I really thought the hairdressers I had been going to were good, I mean really good; however they were not. Jody is extremely talented and knows how to manage his appointments and time between them. His attention to detail is extrodinary. I recommend Jody not for his ability to do fabulous hair, but his ability to give a relaxing head message while washing your hair. If you want nothing but the best for your hair, its Jody

Great Experience!!!. I picked Jody from an internet search. I live about 2 hours from his salon so I was being adventurous. I was ready for something new and different. Jody listened to what I wanted and to what my hair concerns were then came up with a great cut and color. I can't wait until my next visit! (I booked before I even left the chair)

You will feel beautiful. I read the other reviews and agree with all of them. I, too, searched for a stylist who would get it right EVERY TIME. I was tired of having a few decent (though not great) haircuts interspersed with many disappointing ones. Jody is a breath of fresh air! He looks at you and knows what style, color, etc. will really flatter you. He can take the current looks and personalize them so they work for you, but yet you don't just look like everyone else. You feel beautiful and confident leaving his salon and every day until your next visit. He teaches you how to get the style at home, and it's so easy to maintain the look between appointments. In addition to being truly talented, he's reasonable, accessible, knowledgeable - and he really is fun to talk to. Bravo and Thanks, Jody!!

Ready for a new YOU ? JodyD is the answer.. I have been one of those people who has been searching for "someone" to listen to me when I explain what I'm looking for in a cut & have been disappointed more than once.
