Upgrade air filter system, to many bugs in air and I'm tired of getting sick when I shop. More than one person should be in checking -bill pay area. Other than that I like the store and employees are great. Always find what I need and prices are good, store clean.
Customer Service.
While not too happy with the Cusomer Service I will say the hot food there is good especially my favorite the chicken.
I think sales would boost if the employees were more friendly and have more knowledge on store products and the location of the product. It really knocks me off my feet how you ask an employee where something is and either they dont know, never heard of the product will point you to a location and go about their business or simply catch an attitude as if you shouldn't ask them anything. Some Cashiers dont greet you, no eye contact, speechless and in many cases just dump your change in your hand and wont even bag your item. I have been to every Walmart in Columbus and the Whitehall location is the worst ever. There are a few cashiers who are very nice and one that really stood out always curtious and respectful a Black young lady name Kandise. I havent seen her in awhile dont know if shes still there but I do know that some of the Cashiers should learn from her. Walmart still remains my favorite store dispite a few exceptions.
Charles Wagner / Potential Employee. I often shop at this Walmart location and as every place of business there's always room for improvement. Well, I'm one of those persons who want to make a difference. The good things about this location that it severs both Bexley and Whitehall communities. This location is very diversified (employees) and always busy. I have a certification in Customer Service and if given the opportunity I will help improve the negative reviews that I've read thus far. In closing; it's good to voice ones opinions (good or bad) , but if your not willing to make a difference then.....
Walmart - E. Main St. Whitehall, OH.
I really have to say a prayer any time I stop in here.
The employees are rude, the lines are long.
EX" today I head in there for my basics once a month trip.
It's packed as usual. I'm in line, only 4 being open and two of them are 20 items or less so you can imagine how loooonnnnnggggg I'm in line, with my child no doubt.
By the time I get up to the register the cashier leaves saying nothing.....finally another gal steps up.....saying nothing.....
after another 5 min. of messing with the bags she rings my items through....still saying nothing..... I''m watching the pricing and putting the bags in my cart....
asked her to bag the milk.....she didn't....I'm signing.....
she's standing there staring at me...still saying nothing..... watches me bag the milk........ as I put the rest of the items in my cart.... says nothing and I leave.
Is this the real walmart experience? I know it's the reason I don't go that often. There is something to be said about a smile, a hello a thank you. I go here for the low prices but there is something great about feeling welcome and helped and seeing a smile, maybe this is why I frequent Target - they know me there and are always very friendly. I call this walmart - getto walmart and it surely has earned it's name! I'll continue my happy Target experience, no thanks walmart!
Usually happy mom of 1 =)
No Sliced Bread!! No Help!!. There's never sliced Italian, French bread on racks/shelves. And if you try to find someone to slice it-forget it! Always understaffed-especially evenings-in bakery/deli. Most employees when there avoid customers. I complained to manager-suggested slicing a dozen loaves in am and putting tthem out. Never happened. Poor mgmt., poor help.
don't go there if you ever plan to leave. I have lived down the street from walmart for two years and shopped there many times but everytime I go there are never enough checkouts open. Everytime I go in there, I can guarentee that I will be there for at least a half hour whether I am getting a lot of things or just one because of the severe lack of cashiers.
The familiar smiley face representing the world's largest retailer stands for dependably low prices and customer service..
