Envy Is Great. Envy Skin Gallery is one of the best places to get a Piercing or Tattoo. I have had both done there and have been treated with respect. I was given written after care and verbal after care on how to take care of my tattoo and piercings. The new front desk help is very professional. Also the new artists. I have been to other shops in Columbus and this is far the most cleanest shop around.

Envy Skin did me right. I never saw myself as the kind of guy that would get a Tat. I'm not some big brawny biker. Never saw myself as having one. Then life happens and the next thing you know I find myself sitting in a chair and the rest is history. Being my first one I didn't want to do anything that could go horribly wrong. Kept it simple...just something (someone actually) that I never wanted to be far from my thoughts...or heart. A special symbol and a simple name. That's all I needed...that's what I was given. No attempt to upsell, no attempt to take something reserved and dignified and turn it into something overstated or gaudy. I'd love to tell you that it didn't hurt...it did...but it was a good pain if that makes any sense. Envy understood but my reservation at this being my first one and my desire for dignity and class. A lot of places...a lot of people can sling ink...not everyone can understand my sensibilities. Envy did. I'm thinking about tat #2 lately. This time something a little "braver" let's say...something that will reflect a little of "me". I know Envy will capture it's essence. Thanks

Great Tattoo's!. I received a tattoo from Billy Hill when Envy first opened. It was a fantastic experience. Great environment, clean, very spa like. Different from any other tattoo shop I've ever been to. Definately recommended!!!

Great, Clean, and Fun!. Billy gave me my first tattoo in 2005 before he was at Envy. Since then I have, and only will, let him give me tattoos. He does amazing work that is well worth the price. He made me feel comfortable and calm during my tattoos. Beyond Billy, I have always had a great experience with everyone else in the shop. Everyone seems to be friendly and able to joke around while still doing amazing work. They always answer the phones and I have never had to wait for more than a week or so to get into the shop. I have found that no matter how clean shops are, they generally feel dirty when you walk in, but not Envy. I have never seen a cleaner shop, much less a shop that looks like a spa. Overall, I highly recommend Envy, my experiences have been wonderful.

Horrible customer service. Terrible customer service. Needed a touch up and they wanted to charge me $60 (when my original tattoo cost $80) for it because the guy that did my tattoo quit working there (it would have been free if he still worked there). Then they tried to blame me for needing a touch up when I wasn't given proper care instructions or offered a tattoo healing salve (which I would have bought if they said I needed it). If you want to be treated like a valuable customer, or at least get decent service, I would look elsewhere.

The most awesome first tattoo experience ever!. I don't know about other peoples first experience getting tattooed, but mine was incredible. When I walked in the shop I was amazed at the cleanliness and beauty of the shop. The staff was courteous and answered all of my questions, and I had a lot of them, without complaint. They seemed genuinely interested in what I was asking and making sure I was properly educated about my tattoo experience. From how much it hurts (lol, yes I know everyone asks that) to how to take care of it afterward, they gave me every little detail. Billy tattooed me and I was totally comfortable in his hands. I got a small celtic design on my ankle and he made jokes, taking measures to make sure I was as relaxed as possible. He was a total professional and the tattoo just finished healing and is amazing looking. After my tattoo, I wanted to find out about a piercing and their piercer, Chris, took the same amount of time answering my questions. He was awesome. Im going back next week to get my bellybutton done and I can't wait! I recommend these guys to everyone. From now on, Im taking all my business there and my friends as well! I don't know if I will be ready for another tattoo this soon, but I definetely want more and there is no one else I would trust more than these guys. Thanks Envy Skin Gallery! You guys rock!
