Spoiled Chicken Tikka Masala and a Bad Attitude. We have gone to Sher-E-Punjab many times, including having large parties catered by them. The food has always been good before. Yesterday we ordered take-out. I tasted the chicken tikka masala and it was clearly not good. It tasted fermented, which was different from usual. My wife drove all the way back and exchanged it for a new batch. The owner told her to taste it. She can't drink milk so she doesn't eat chicken tikka masala, but felt intimidated by his tone so she tried it and said she didn't know, she thought maybe it tasted okay. But when she brought it home we could tell that the new batch also tasted fermented. She called right after but the woman (younger) said that the owner had gone home, but that they wouldn't give us our money back since we had taken the food. We said we'd bring it back, and we made another trip there today. That woman was there and said no, she wouldn't give us our money back. She said "Maybe our food isn't right for you and you should go somewhere else." Are you kidding me? Even after we explained that we come there all the time and that I HAD TO STAY WITHIN A FEW STEPS OF A TOILET ALL DAY she was indignant. Honestly, we have to recommend to everyone that you avoid this place at all costs. A shame since it is 1 block from our house, but we'll be driving to a place that doesn't try to pass off spoiled food and blames its customers for not knowing how food should taste.
