I was SUPER excited to try this restaurant. They have a great webpage and I am really into the concept of a fast, build-your-own meal. The atmosphere here is fresh, vivacious, lively and clean. As for the food....BLAH! I ordered the #4, QUATTRO STAGIONI. I was thrilled to try the artichoke, olive, prosciutto, mushroom and cheese medley. It sounded delicious! However, let's just say I was less than impressed. The penne noodles were topped with ladles of marinara sauce, I had (1) artichoke, (3) sliced mushrooms pieces, maybe (8) black olive slices and literally, deli slices of HAM, not prosciutto in my bowl! Besides the vibrant, orange, Milanese decor, the Tomato Basil soup was the only saving grace. It was delicious! Pesto Creative Italian Bistro may be good at 2am after a binge-fest at The Stube, but it certainly is not worth a trip for dinner or lunch. Maybe the proprietor should put more money into the food quality, and less into the hip-decor.
Pros: Great, modern atmosphere and concept & yummy Tomato Basil Soup
Cons: Bland, misrepresented menu items
