Always good. Have never run into any problems in this restaurant. Seems to be one of the better ones, no worries here.
Some of the Best Filet Mignon in Columbus. Company Christmas party on a busy Friday night, and the food was still very well timed and perfectly prepared, and the service was impeccable. Very nice selection of seasoning for the steak.
Great food, great looking restaurant, poor service and management..
This place is by far the best for seafood in Columbus at a great price and setting. Unfortunately the service is off and on, culminating with a late night dining experience that has led me not to return again.
We were sat on the patio about 10PM, with two other tables finishing up. We were not greeted by the server for about 5 minutes which is the custom for the patio here. Nearby table had couple ladies who had been dining there for a while and who monopolized our server the whole evening talking to her about how they were published and they would get our server on the radio. Usually the server wouldy make every polite effort to extricate to take care of other tables, this was NOT the case. After 10 minutes from having finised eating, we got her attention, she dropped check and I handed my CC immediately and handed my ticket to the valet over the railing. We waited another few minutes and still no server. So we walk inside IN FULL VIEW OF THE MANAGER who is visibly tired from his shift and supporting himself on the stand. Our server is next to the POS chatting away with the ladies who had moved inside. We stand behind her a few more minutes as she continues on with them (they laugh, she laughs, they exchange contact information). At this point I am absolutely livid as I never have been and walk over to the manager, hand him my business card and tell him to send me my CC and I will sign the check whenever is convenient for he and his server. At this point he perks up a bit and waddles over to our server at the bar. He comes back and says that the other guest had questions about her bill.
1. Manager has no idea what is happening in his restaurant when it is NOT AT ALL busy
2. Manager gives me an EXCUSE, and a BS one at that, when he should be simply keeping it to an apology
I have dealt with plenty of upset customers and I could only have dreamed of such an opportunity to fix the situation. Like I said, I will not be back.
