Great food, nice quiet spot. Really good seafood and small plates. Try the spicy small plate pasta
Best atmosphere in Columbus. The food was great, enjoyed my fish. Great service and reasonable price This is my second time, would definitely recommend it for a great evening out
Good Food, Bad Service. Our group of eight ate here on New Year's Eve. Overall, the food was good, but the service was quite poor. The valet was on her cell phone and did not bother to end her call or approach our car to help us. We ended up having to park across the street at Giant Eagle. The bartender was VERY slow to get our drinks and acted like it was a bother, even though she was not busy. We were seated upstairs, which has the ambiance of a fraternal hall. Our server was uneducated about the menu and the specials. Dirty dishes were not cleared in a timely manner and the food did not come out all at once. The menu had tons of spelling errors and even lists dishes that are no longer available. The server also informed us that they no longer have espresso because their espresso machine kept breaking, so they just got rid of it. I wrote a letter to the owner about our experience and did not even receive a response. Most dishes are $24-$30, so I would recommend attending one of the many restaurants in town that offers both great food and great service.…
Excellent food, poor service.. We had our Holiday Party at Thom's. The most of the food was excellent. The chichen breasts were way too over cooked. The Bartenders were great, but there was a change in how we were to be served. Instead of individual plates, Thom's set up a buffet table. Since it was a buffet, many people went up more than once. The staff negleted to tell us that you could only visit it once. Then at the end, they counted plates instead of asking who had eatten. Many tables had people who did not eat or only had the dessert. Thom's charged everyone at most tables because of the plate counts. The bill was higher than expected, and did not match up with what we added up. By charging the tables, they could automatically add the 20% gratuity to the bills. The manager was put in a very poor place by the owner, who was threating to fire her plus the help. You can not expect people not to visit a buffet table more than once, and if you change things on your customers, then you had better explain to them those changes and what you expect people to do. If you don't want someone visiting the Buffet more than once, explain that up front, don't wait until the end of the night when everyone is leaving. The Manager was complaining about how she was going to pay for all the food that had been eatten, but the issue could have been settled at the very beginning with communication, or with sticking to the plan of individual plates for every one. The only staff that went around cleaning up tables during the event, was our male bartender. The other's waited until the party was over to clean up dirty glasses etc. All in all, the service was not worth the 20% gratuity they charged us.…
