Bad service. Average food, pricey. Bad service with rude servers and managers. Used to like coming here but we won't be back
Favorite Local Tasty Food - Dublin. Always good food, great service and fair prices. Menu is unique with very tasty combinations. Best salads and sandwiches around, love the bit of Asian flare blended in with some traditional American dishes. This restaurant is clean, friendly and never stuffy. Love it! Probably my favorite in my hometown!
Jasons/Dublin is wonderful!.
We have been to Jasons in Dublin many times and have never had bad service OR a bad meal. Jason himself is very personable. As I was astounded to read other reviews that were poor, it would be good to note which Jasons Restaurant they are talking about. Many of the poor reviews seem to indicate the newer Jasons - not the one in Dublin.
The food is superb - love the Tilapia or special fish entrees as well as the steaks and Asian dishes. Jasons in Dublin has a great bar and social atmosphere which we like. It might be a little noisy for some occasions but it truly is one of our favorites in the area.
Jason's Worthington-Not worth it. Bad food, inattentive service. They seem to cater to groups leaving individuals to average food and service. In these times, there are many other places to get a great meal for the same or less money. He's not paying attention to his customers or his chefs.
Biggest disappointment in a dining experience in Columbus.
As a young professional who eats out frequently, I would have to say that this is the biggest disappointment in a dining experience that I have ever encountered in Columbus. I just dropped $150 on dinner for two, for a largely average dinner, below average service, and below average management/ownership who didn't care to make anything right. I will never return.
I would have to say that this is the worst dining experience I have had in many years. Our first time here, we sat on the upper patio and were basically an afterthought and burden, as our waitress was busy the whole night cleaning up after a banquet of some sort and hardly gave us the time of day. My husband ate his average filet, as I waited at least 20 minutes for my dinner to be made right. I ordered crab cakes and whipped potatoes that were NOT EVEN WARM when they came out. So my husband was completely finished with his dinner, by the time my dinner even came out for the second time (and the potatoes were STILL cold). No apologies. I'd say that is a huge embarrassment to the restaurant. We had to ASK to speak to a manager who comped us for a dessert that we surely didn't ask for or even want. Considering the plethora of good restaurants around the Worthington/Polaris area, a restaurant of this caliber will never succeed in this area.
If this restaurant ever plans to succeed here, I'd suggest two basic things that probably McDonalds has down better:
1) Hire competent staff. When I come in to spend $ for dinner, I expect to be treated like a guest - not as a burden.
2) Serve fresh food. I don't go to a restaurant to eat stale rolls and be served a cold meal.
OVERALL, WITH ALL THE GREAT DINING CHOICES AVAILABLE IN COLUMBUS, YOU'D BE A FOOL TO WASTE TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE. CHECK OUT HYDE PARK, BONEFISH GRILL, OR LUCE INSTEAD.
STAY AWAY - RUDE SERVICE-FOOD NOT WORTH THE ENERGY REQUIRED TO EAT IT!.
Service staff slow, management rude and food not worth the $. Me, my wife and 2 couples had a decidely underwhelming dining experience. The service was slow, our orders incorrect and management rushed us through dessert. If you like your pasta soft as mush then Jason's is the place for you. I wrote Jason regarding our experience - no reply.
Stay away and go someplace where the patron is respected and the food lives up to it's billing. Jason's is definetly not the place to go!
Great Food and Service. Service and food is top notch. Sesame Salmon is too die for and my wife's steak was amazing. Potato cakes are addicting. Best cheesecake i have ever tasted. Service was spot on. We will return and recommend to others.
Best food we've had in a long time!...Great Service too!. My husband and I needed a date night, so we decided to head to Dublin for a great meal at Oscar's....Once we parked the car, we decided on a whim to try Jason's instead, since we had never been there before. We sat out on the patio (it was a beautiful night) and we asked our server for his recommendations on everthing from the Martini List, to apps, to dinner and to dessert! He suggested we try the cosmo and the peach martinis and we LOVED both of them!...Jason's is pretty generous on their pours, so we only needed one! Next we tried the Spinach dip...delicious! And for our meals....I chose from the Asain Fare and had the Pad Thai...best I've ever had! My husband wanted Italian so he went with the Chicken Parm...also excellent! What a cool place to offer such a diverse menu and to do it so well! We were actually too full for dessert, but if we go back we will definitely try the carrot cake, since our server was so wonderful at all of the other suggestions! Can't wait to go back!

I stopped by after work to grab a bite since some co-workers found it to be amazing. Our waiter interrupted us several times and was very pushy. He took our drink orders and it took him a good 10 minutes to bring out water, and another 10 to bring out my martini (which was fantastic). He took our food orders and it was about 35 minutes before we ever saw our waiter again. When the food finally arrived, my friend said "What took things so long?" in a calm and professional tone. The waiter said "Actually I can't answer that, the cook was getting really mad at me..." and went on about it.
Thinking he blew his tip at that point, he was GONE. He took a drink refill order (soda) and never brought it back. Our order (except for alcohol, understandable) was entirely comped. When the check was brought, we sat there for another 10 minutes until the waiter, who had just 6-7 minutes before eyed the check on the table said "Oh, uh...I thought my manager got that...".
The bad experience wasn't his fault until he never even offered an apology for the late/absent food. Don't abandon your tables and assume you've blown your tip, servers. The hostesses were very polite and the food was actually quite good.
Lose the shaky/slurring waiter with a garish bandage on his neck and we'll come back.
The worst customer service I have ever received. This encounter at Jason's was terrible. Our pary had 6:45 reservations and were not seated until around 7:30. If that was all, it would have been bearable, but it went on to a waiter who tried to leave a dirty tableclothe on our table, to his apparent disinterest in taking our order.Dirty silverware. Someone at our table was actually in mid sentence when our server turned around and started talking to another table. I informed the manager of this and things moved along a little better, but he still continued to forget half of what we asked for and brought items out in a very unorganized fashion. The manager did try to fix things by giving us dessert, but we did not leave the restaurant until 9:30 because of all the delay. This next day at least two people in our party are very ill and throwing up, so it is very suspicious. You be the judge!
