We purchased a loaf of what was called "Rustic French". The loaf was so overbaked that the crust was too hard to eat. The soft portion of the bread inside the loaf was less than 20% of the entire loaf. This bread is only usable as very hard croutons or bread crumbs. And if this is the purpose of this bread then it should be noted on the sign advertising this bread. What we took back to our hotel as a treat ended up in the trash.

Now I can't have a party without ordering from Omega---my friends expect it! I only wish it were a restaurant instead of a bakery! Although I have enjoyed every single bread, the foccacia is beyond heaven. One generous slice of foccacia, a green salad and a glass of wine and you feel as if you're in Italy! Another favorite is the raisin bread-with walnuts and perfect for toasting or eating just as it is. This bread is too good for butter! The desserts have thrown me off my diet more than once. I have never tasted a better cookie than the Browned butter walnut cookie. There isn't anything that I have ever tried here that I didn't like. Sorry, Dr. Atkins!

Pros: gorgeously prepared, beautiful display, delicious! delicious!
