Established in 1982, this chain gained a following for its laid-back atmosphere and generous portions. Patrons settle into comfortable booths and tables in dining rooms with plants, artwork and décor reminiscient of the villas in the Tuscan countryside. Starters include scampi, sausage or pepperoni pizza, and several soup choices, as well as a signature seafood dip (crab, shrimp, cheese and marinara). Entrees include classics like lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. There are also "Garden Fare" options, which promise 30 percent fewer calories.

Natalia is the best server we've ever had. My husband and I were visiting Columbus for a few days while our son was on his orientation at OSU. Olive Garden is our favorite place to eat wherever we visit, but this particular Olive Garden on Polaris Parkway had the most wonderful and delightful server we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Natalia Samaniego was so pleasant and friendly, that we were right at ease and relaxed. Throughout our meal she was always respectful of our questions and delivered service with a grand smile. She told us she had worked there for quite some time and it was evident in the the way she carried herself with committment to customer satisfaction. She was fun to talk to, shared her Ohio State experiences with us and gave us advice to give to our son who is soon to be a freshman at OSU. She had nothing but nice things to say about the restaurant, her co-workers, the fresh food and how nice it was to work there. We enjoyed our entire experience there that day and were quite pleasantly surprised to have met such a nice, unique, fun and definately focused individual. As usual, the food is always fantastic at Olive Garden, but this day was a special treat for us. We definately will return on our next trip to OSU and ask for Natalia. We suggest you do the same!!
