"exotic" beers in columbus. We recently relocated from a larger city to Columbus. At every opportunity, we ask people we encounter where to go--and Betty's is the place! In the land of "King of Beers" it is great to have alternative choices on tap at Betty's! There are vegetarian options on the menu, and the servers are very friendly when requesting alterations or changes to a dish to ensure that it meets dietary needs. The ambiance is kitchy but not pretentious.

Betty's is one of Columbus' Best. Betty's is one of my favorite restaurants in this city. Great food, great service in a funky, eccelctic place. It is a sigh of relief from the chain restaurants that dominate Columbus. Great mixed drinks and an excellent selection of beers.

Fun Decor, Good Drinks, and Comfort Food!. Betty's is fabulous. The decor is eclectic Betty, and always inspires good humor and conversation in new visitors. The menu has all the classic comfort foods, and an excellent selection of vegetarian and even vegan items. They are usually very busy on weekend evenings, but get a drink while you wait. They have good beer on tap; a small, but decent wine list; and interesting cocktails, including a Tang martini, Betty Beer, and Surfer Girl in the Curl Blue Hawaiian.

Always Good. Been to Betty's a few times now. I have always found the food to be very tasty, the service excellent and the beer selection abundant. Try to get a seat up front so you can people watch. You really can't go wrong here.

yum yum. A real Columbus treasure. Great crowd, vibe, service and food. We come here at least once a week. Betty's is eclectic.casual and fun and frequented by an interesting mix of local artists and musicians rubbing elbows with local suited politicians! Great place to people watch while eating a delicious meal!

Fabulous, Dahling!. Oh my goodness, I love this place. The bartenders are always amazing, and they make hands-down the BEST flavored martinis in Columbus. The food is always radiant, the service is warm and fuzzy, and the bathroom (women's bathroom, anyway) is covered in great reading material. It's a touch pricey, but so worth it. This place deserves to be packed every day!

a fantastic find. betty's is a fantastic find! they have a little bit of everything for everyone. the portions are enormous (you can walk away sometimes with enough leftovers for 2 more meals). their beer selection is awesome (i recommend their special $5 belgian ale that is 10% alcohol - it's on the back of the menu). if i'm with someone and we can't decide where to go, it almost always seems like we end up at betty's.

Fabulous!. We eat at Betty's all the time. Best place in the Short North by far. Great music, great food, great scandalous photos on the wall, and the best draught beer selection around. Service is friendly, cool and old school, lots of good times to be found here.
