Rather typical joint and I hated the atmosphere. Food was mediocre, wouldn't go back but only because there are way better places around, not because it was particularly bad. The service is a bit slow. seemed like mostly regulars in the place.

I had thin crust pizza which would be thick crust anywhere else. From looking at the "Chicago-style" pizza, I could tell it was not the unique Chi-town double crust - just an extra thick, bready pizza, more like Sicilian style. The place was empty. The server told us the pizza would take as much as 30 minutes. She told us this 10 minutes after we ordered. The pizza took an hour. The salad was just iceberg lettuce and your average croutons - Donato's does side salad better. They got some of my party's orders wrong including mine. It was a pretty sad experience. Hopefully they will close soon. I expect they will. Fabian's had that on it's-last-legs feel to it. The Short North is better than this.
Pros: Pizza was ok. $1.50 Pabst.
Cons: Service, prices, side salad, mozzarella sticks, and veggie sub were not good.
