Finally got to sit at the Kitchen Table - awesome experience, highly recommend it. Also used the 4/$40 coupon... a great deal. Kitchen staff were funny and informative. We'll be back for sure.
Mediocre food, very poor service. The server was downright rude. He could not be bothered to move our salad out of the way to put down the entree. He just sat there with a stupid look on his face, and told us maybe we could put our salad bowl on the table next to us. Put down the damn entree and move it yourself! That is your JOB. Also had to ask to have our dishes cleared off the table when we were done. Took 20 minutes to get check and pay. Food was low on flavor. I make better Italian myself at home. Way too pricey for what you get and how we were treated by the server.
Garlic bread with your meal?. So, when asked if I would like garlic bread with a small portion of spaghetti, I said,"Sure!." No, I didn't ask how much more it would cost since it was just garlic bread. The garlic bread was a sub bun cut into eight sections with garlic butter and slightly warmed. The cost? $8.99! So, you now have an idea what to expect when you eat here...$$$$. I was seated promptly and the employees were friendly and courteous. The 'small' portion' of spaghetti could feed 2-3. The 1/2 lb. meatballs were nothing special-meat with a hint of garlic and an aftertaste of fat.
Get cozy with friends and family and enjoy an Italian feast at this loved-by-locals restaurant..
Homesick for your mother's Italian cooking? Grab your appetite and head to this restaurant, where the friendly wait staff will serve up portions of Colosseum-esque proportions, like spaghetti and meatballs loaded with savory tomato sauce and lots of pungent garlic. Dishes center on Southern Italian immigrant fare, and are meant to be shared family-style with a large goblet of wine-to enhance the taste, of course. The ornate décor with walls covered in vintage photos evokes a warm homey feel that welcomes customers to dine among the other families and loyal customers. Buon Appetito!
Plenty of good food here!. Excellent place to feed a lot of people. Portion sizes were VERY generous. Expect leftovers. Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Located right by the Nationwide Arena. There is a wait at times unless you have reservations. Quatro Al Forno is a good choice for a sample of their food. Their Bruschetta is WONDERFUL with lots of fresh tomatoes and basil, wonderful flavor. The waiter we had, Dustin, was so nice and friendly and attentive without being annoying. Their meatballs are HUGE. Their alfredo sauce was not the best I've had (I like Olive Garden's) but it was okay. I've never had enough room for dessert so I can't comment on that! I will definitely go back every time I'm in town.
Best southern italian food anywhere. I love buca! This is my all time favortite restaraunt hands down. This is a place you definatly want to take another italian food lover. If you two can agree on the same entree you will have more then enough food, for a great price! If you order alone, be prepared to take home PLENTY of leftovers~! I love the atmosphere, the decorations makes you feel as tho you're really in Italy. The food is so rish with flavor.. my mouth is watering now! =]
Horrible. I loved the waiter he was very friendly. The stuffed shells were hard as rocks, and the calamari yum but I had to stop 3 times on the way home I started to get this horrible headache I ended up having my stomach pumped. For a 100$ meal this wasn't worth it at all, and a 200 hospital copay . We did tip the waiter 25 dollars though.
WONDERFUL. I highly reccomend this restraunt, but I urge you to bring your appetite or friends, because I promise you will get a lot of food. My husband and I got a small pizza the way I describe it is Deliciously plain, I don't think I have ever had a pizza that has had such minimal ingredients and been sooooo good, we also had the house bread (friends have said next time for us to get the garlic bread, that it's to die for), a side (not a small) of spaghetti, a single meatball (baseball sized), and the quatro something or other, it had stuffed shells, manicotti, ravioli and some kind of chicken thing we got the small in that. We ate till we were stuffed and still brought home a Wal-mart sized plastic bag full of leftovers. Great food, Great atmosphere. I will be going back, and I will take friends along. We went on a Sunday around 3, so we didn't have a wait, but I have been told it is best to make a reservation.
American Italian, not "AUTHENTIC" as their claimed. I had been to a couple different location of the Buca di Beppo, "AUTHENTIC ITALIAN" restaurants. However, I have to say that I am NOT impressed. All dishes are SUPER sized so you have to share like an Italian family which is a great idea. However, the food's quality is not what they claimed "authentic." All things are either covered in cheese or butter, no spices, and the Tiramisu is just no worth the money. If you like the Americanized Italian and would like to get your money worth when it comes to food, this is your place. Personally, I choose taste over money & quailty.
Good food, average service, downtown location is better.
The food here is good. The service is ok. The wait is pretty attrocious, even after 9. The downtown location is much better. The parking situation, however, is much better than downtown. Not a bad restaurant if you can't get to the downtown location.
This is a good location if you want to have a party. I held a rather large party here and it went very well.
