Didn't bring our dogs here because........ My mother e-mailed the owner, Mrs. Whiteman to inquirer about this facility. Mrs. Whiteman refused to answer any of her questions and offered her a "complimentary" meeting to discuss her facility and staff. I would hope that she does not charge a fee to see this facility and speak with potential clients. She was disrespectful in her answer by addressing my mother by her first name instead of by her formal name. My sister and myself visted the facility a couple of times and this is what we saw. There are outdoor runs with latches that flip up. These kind of latches can easily be flipped up by a dog and then the gate would open. There were a few bolt hooks hanging on the fence but none on the latches, not even the one leading out to the parking lot and street. Not safe. The facility's website boasts safety. I think not. There is gravel in the runs. At one time we saw employees put as many as 4 to 5 dogs together in the same run. They urinated or deficated in the run, sat, laid down , or walked in it. There was no where else to go. Not clean or healthy. The dogs were let out in masses, jumping all over each other, barking & growling. Not safe. The employess would pick up the poo but not sanitize the run. Then different dogs would be put in the soiled area. The dogs would be left outside, unattended for 20 to 30 minutes at a time. Someone could easliy open the gates to steal the dogs or just let them loose. Not safe. We came 1 night at closing, we never saw anyone sanitize the runs after a whole day of dogs eliminating in them. This was a Thursday, so was there 4 days or more of urine & poo stuck in the gravel? Yuk! The other thing that it says on the website is that this facility has a veterinarian on staff. We had gone into the veterinary hospital to watch the daycare through some windows. I don't even want to get into what that looked like. I can't believe that people think this is good. We were greatly pleased with our reception at the hospital. We asked a few questions and learned that at one time the 2 businesses were together but have recently split into 2 separate businesses. It was confirmed that there is NOT a veterinarian on staff. However, if medical attention is needed , the vets in the hospital are available to take care of it. False advertising? It was our conclusion that this facility is NOT SAFE or SANITARY, at least on the outside. There were numerous other factors also. Perhaps people should take a little closer at this facility before entrusting their pets to these people.…
Just plain AWFUL!!!. I will NEVER bring my pets to this place ever again. The staff changes out weekly or after they stand up at the front desk complaining to the receptionist about how they are pushed to their limits of what they can take. The place looks clean..I'll give them that. About a month or so ago there was one particular employee, who I've seen multiple times when picking up and dropping my dog off, who wears his pants past his bottom, his employee shirt is stained, ripped, and when he bends over, I get a full view of something not so pleasant. If your going to be in front of clients, look presentable and not like you just crawled out of a hole. I come in and this same employee is never doing anything but sitting behind a desk, texting, or eating while managers and other employees are actually working. He bosses employees around but doesn't stop playing on his phone to help out instead. If this employee is being a slob and is lazy all day, is it really worth me paying a $276 boarding bill?! The owner of the place I rarely have met, and when I have met her, she seems fake and uninterested in anything I'm saying. She tried to sell me her "training" program, which is 2 weeks where I leave my girl there and she trains her to heal, wait, and lay on a place on command..by using a shock collar. I asked her if there is another method than this because my dog is only 22 lbs and I think it's a little much for her to be wearing a shock collar to learn just that. She isn't aggressive or pulls, so I didn't see the need for the drastic method of shocking her to listen. The owner said that this is the only way to train her and that it doesn't shock her..it "touches" her. Umm..the last time I checked..a shock collar SHOCKS not TOUCHES when you push a button. Then I ask how much in this 2 weeks will she get trained. She said it's up to 3 times a day for 10-15 minutes and that's it. And if she is doing well with the commands, she openly admitted she sometimes only has to work with the dog once or twice a day!! The rest of the time she sits in a run. So for $1500 I get my dog shocked for up to 45 minutes a day, if she catches on then maybe 10 minutes, to learn heal, place, and wait. You must be joking. I would never pay that kind of money for that little of training, commands, and for my dog to be left in a run for 2 weeks, only coming out to potty and get shocked. I had asked to see the doggy daycare because I had knew they offered it. I was mortified. Both of the employees weren't paying attention, they were watching a movie on t.v.! The big dogs were going nuts, I saw the same employee who sags his pants, just standing there, doing nothing. I'm sorry but if I wanted clients to bring their dogs in this daycare, I would be PAYING ATTENTION to the dogs and at least be playing with them!! The other employee who has no clue how to deal with dogs, is on the smaller dog side trying to get the dogs attention. While his head is down checking his phone, another dog poops and I watch a puppy run up to the poop and eats it. The one who sags kept walking briskly up to the bigger dogs and they would cower and put their tails between their legs. That right there was enough for me. I don't know what kind of daycare this place is, but if dogs are afraid of the employees and act like your going to hit them..they probably have. Now, the boarding staff has always seemed very happy to see my dog, so I have no complaints about them. I just got a awful feeling when I witnessed a few minutes of the daycare and how both employees could care less about the dogs and more about standing around and watching movies. I will be finding a new boarding facility asap, there is no way I would ever leave my baby there if that's the kind of employees I'm supposed to trust.…
#1 in Columbus. This place is amazing! I was so nervous having to leave my puppy for the first time. They explained everything to me before I could even ask! (= They cover EVERYTHING when you come in and customize whatever you may need! They are very activity oriented and have a huge variety of other activites. They were so excited about some of the activities they created and explained how important it was while staying. I picked a Movie Matinee everyday! (= Louie played with his friends and got to watch Hotel for Dogs on their Big Screen TV. It was so cute! I truly hope everyone that has a pet gets to see what this place has to offer!…
