S.W.A.T busts down neighbors door and leasing office lies

I have had more issues with this apartment complex than i can count. My car has been broken into multiple times. My apartment has been broken into in broad daylight the apartment above me was broken into (they removed the door jam). Management dosn't give a crap about anyone. I made the mistake of renewing my least last year for 12 months and i have regreted it every day. I was pregnant at the time and on bedrest so no way i could facilitate a move since i'm on my own.

The main office assistant is a stuck up bitch who will harras you if she dosn't like you. I have made multiple complains about neighbors noise and not picking up after their dogs and nothing is ever done. i have made more repairs on stuff myself like fixing piping and leaky faucets becuase maintenance dosn't know the difference between a hammer and a wrench. Now their is mold growing in the bathroom and when i went to replace the caulk (myself) i found layer upon layer of old nasty black caulk that was just covered and not removed and cleaned first. Their are more than 6 mexicans (multi family) living in the apartment next to us and they are dealing drugs i have seen them walk out to the parking lot to do the "exchange" Does the leasing office do anything? Hell no

Oh and dont bother trying to go in anytime close to their Openeing time on saturdays becuase they put up the "will be back" sign up and dont actually show up to work until after noon. you cant say i'm exagerating read any of the other reviews here. Multiple sights show horrible reviews and believe me its all true and probably an understatement.

OLENTANGY COMMONS UNSAFE AND OVERPRICED

Crawford Hoying has not figured out that their days are numbered on how long they can get away with putting people in dangerous positions and providing no heat for them in the winter. Car windows are smashed in on a regular basis and apartments are broken into with no response from manager of Olentangy Commons and Regional Manager backs her up. Residents are unsafe and are expected to shell out money for car window repairs, stolen personal belongings, not to mention putting themselves and their families in dangerous positions on a daily basis with no security system in place and no plans for improvement. ONE volunteer security person is supposedley on site which is a JOKE for this large complex 24/7--when does he sleep and eat? Our car has been smashed five times and our apartment broken into two times...we are stuck with expense. It took maintenance from JANUARY TO JUNE to come fix our smashed in door glass from our robbery! UNBELIEVABLE! WE called and called and called..Our vents do not work AT ALL in two bedrooms upstairs ..baby's room has NO HEAT..we are called liars by the manager and, yes, you guessed it, Regional Manager backs up the manager..We had to buy space heaters and window air conditioners after months of trying to get help. Pool is taken over by drunken college students. Why can't the families take their kids to the pool ? Who hired these people? UNBELIEVABLE. Please take this seriously.Crawford Hoying, please listen to your residents and bring some safety to their lives and also provide heat to these units. YOU HAVE THE MONEY to provide some security cameras and some REAL security staff to these properties.

DO NOT LIST:

Complain about the roaches in your frig. till it breaks down. But help the maintence stomp them down as they replace it.

Complain about the mold on your walls not once but two winters. But, throw out your coats, call Code Enforcement and tell your spouse with COPD not to worry.

Complain about people you ask to pick up after there dog. But, get a restraining order, because they have started WWW III.

Complain about your grandchild that has a breathing problem and they office staff telling you they do not care. But, just go off like a rocket, what have you got to lose.

Complain about another mother that brings her child over to beat up another child playing with your child. But her to take her child home, he is a problem and not allowed here. Be told you should not of hit her back, but call the law. O ya I will call the police after I am done. They may not tell whom started it, but they will see whom finished it.

Complain about a 7 year old that is running all over, with a knife cutting trees, and breaking bottles, swimming without a parent. Find out where they live and call CPS, so the next year there right back out there alone.

Camplain about the drug dealing, cars being y into or the security lights that have not worked in over a year. Call police as many times possible, deal with a fight between AEP and Crawford. Be told your going to be security lights up by Amy and never see that.

We are so proud to see Police that are now our courtesy officers living on site...thought there for a minute we were living at Lincoln Park West.

After all that, pay your rent on time, clean up after your dog, control your children and for god sake take care of your unit. They will tell you that YOUR not happy here, so your contract will not be renewed.

PS..Do not call Mr Crawford, he will stick up for his staff. :(

Don't move here! The apartment complex is a mess. More than one family living into many apartments. (lease violation) Lots of pitbull dogs (lease violation!) Trash all over the place, kids running around areas unsupervised. You have to dodge potholes like land mines, abandoned cars in what was to be occupied apartment tenants spaces. And I have witnessed drug deals done in the parking lots. Management not on site, and they don't do anything when you inform them of these problems! But they like your rent money come 1st of the month!

Bottom line: YOU WILL REGRET SIGNING THE LEASE!!

helpful managment company

I live in Citation Club in Hilliard and have been very pleased with my living conditions. My apartment is clean and sunny and the common areas are pleasant and inviting. I would recommend renting in this community to others.
