Best full service Mexican in Columbus. I have been to La Casita many times with never a miss. Tonight I tried a Torta (Al Pastor pork) for the first time and it was simply amazing. The cilantro was super fresh, a nice crispy bread (roll?), and the Al Pastor pork was so good that I scrounged every crumb. Wow! Out the door including a margarita, for $10.

La Casita leaves the popular El Vaquero in the dust... it's not even close.

"baybie305" tell your uncle to keep doing what he is doing, you can always tell a well managed restaurant the minute you taste the food. The service is always great here too, it's a fun place to eat.

Highly recommended.

Always enjoyable. I'm a vegetarian so there isn't a huge selection available however their veggie burrito is great (and as far as I can tell, it's vegan as well. There is no cheese and toppings are on the side.) The service is always fast and friendly. They have a great patio. You can easily tell from the outside this used to be a Long John Silver's but don't pass this by thinking it's fly by night fast food joint. I also like their chips and salsa and margaritas.

Incredible fish tacos. My husband and I have been curious about this place (a former Long John Silvers) and finally went last weekend. Their grilled fish tacos were the best in the city. They were spectacular! So moist and flavorful! What a fabulous surprise - we will definitely go back. We each had a combo plate with black beans and rice - it was all good. The furniture is colorful and bright. We definitely recommend it.

Best !. I love this place! My uncle is the owner & my whole family works there. They have alot of business and has come a long way! The food & drinks plus desserts are amazing, it's well worth it. Bring friends & family and enjoy!

best mexican in columbus. i love mexican food, i lived in the southwest for many years and when people in the midwest say lets go get mexican food i usualy say no thnk you. however this place is really authentic, i been going here for years. the salsa is great just as it should be, the food is very authentic i recomend the fish tacos, or any tacos for that matter. they have a bar so you can get margaritas and other drinks the staff is very friendly. just as mexican food should be it is very affordable, try this place out you will not be sorry.

I used to love this place,,,. La Casita was great for many years... so much that I would drive across town to dine there.

The food has consistently been bad during my past three experiences. Not sure why, but it is not as good. Haven't seen the owner for a while, either.

I really hope they bounce back, but they are no longer top of my list for Mexican food.

Always Delicious!!!. We have enjoyed every meal we have gotten there. The margaritas are strong and delicious. I always order the ceviche to eat with my chips.

Kid friendly and a great lunch spot.

Small in space, big in character. While a former Long John Silver building may not be the best place for Mexican, La Casita is as good as you could expect. The crowd is a good mix of college students, young couples, and familes. The service is always friendly. The only problem is it is getting too popular now. Expect a wait Friday nights.

User review by lori908. Fabulous food. Now my favorite restaurant. Great service, good food, great authentic atmoshphere. Not too much room for seating if it's a busy Saturday night but I would go to eat there anytime! Their Carnitas is fabulous.
