Real good!.
Been there a couple times now, and the chili is some of the best Ive eve had. Their bison burger is so good, its rates with one of the best possible burgers in Columbus. The decor is outstanding...tons of wood, tall tin ceilings...really cool. Prices are a little high, and this is another Arena District restaurant, so parking can be an issue. Also, make a note...if it is a Clipper home game, change your plans, other than that, a real good place. we shall return.

It's just okay..
we checked out ted's after a movie in the arena district in columbus. maybe it is because we had eaten at so many phenomenal restaurants throughout our stay that made ted's seem just okay.
the atmosphere is what you might expect from a place that serves bison. very western-ish complete with a big ol' bison head hanging from the wall.
our waiter was just okay as well. he definitely had no intentions of going out of his way to make our visit a great one, however, he did do his job. guess it's a good thing we aren't difficult. ;)
the food itself was also just okay. i had a chicken sandwich of some sort... it was messy. my partner had the steak and for $20 i he said it was also just okay.
if you're looking for meat an' potatoes- quick and mediocre, this is your place.

Limited Menu.
My wife loves the place and I can tolerate it. The atmosphere is great, prices are decent and service is pretty good. The paper tablecloth was nice because the waitress gave my 4 yr. old a pen so he could draw on it. If you wanna try bison burgers/steaks, this is your place. I was not impressed with the beef or bison ribeyes but the pot-roast was great and so were the onion rings. Plenty of burgers and steaks on the menu but not a really extensive selection otherwise. The waitress said everything is really fresh because they don't have a freezer or a microwave which is a neat concept. Overall, worth a try.

Families and large groups feast on hearty cuts and comfort food at this Rocky-Mountain style steakhouse..
In Short
Lots of mahogany, tin ceilings, metal crown molding and Arts and Crafts-style décor prevail at this casual, comfortable saloon, part of media mogul Ted Turner's domain. Beef and bison are king, and they're hand-cut on site. Other bites include beer-can chicken, bison prime rib and cedar planked salmon. For dessert, there's home-made cookies, Kahlua fudge brownies, Coke floats and strawberry shortcake.

Great atmospere, great service, and great food. All at an affordable rate, my wife and I have a new favorite spot. We don't go out often so it is important that when we do things are very nice and it makes you say I'll be back.
