Not a good experience. I was there when user Eddie5150 was there. It was obvious to us that the waiter constantly ogled the girl in the low cut outfit, ignoring other tables. The restaurant is NOT set up for good acoustics, and with a wood floor, it adds to the fray. I couldn't hear myself think in this place. We were smartly dressed business people, but it didn't make a difference. Our food was not that great either. No manager ever showed up, ever. I don't know if this is true, but I was told by someone who works close by that S & W profiles people, so if you park your Hummer with 24's or your Lambo out front, you're getting better service. If you want to stand out and walk right in on a busy nite, wear a provocative outfit, and show some leg getting out of your Ferrari......

bad food and service. Was very disapointed. Steak came out dry sent it back and still came out dry. Fish was also dry. Service was not up to par. Food and service was what you would expect from Denny's. Save your hard earned money and embarassement and go somewhere else

Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Locals flock for tender USDA Prime steaks, seafood bouquets and house-made desserts including cheesecakes and chocolate cake.

Good Food - Really Expensive. I went to this restaurant knowing it would be pricey. I didn't know however that I'd be shelling out $40 plus a $6 tip for lunch. I had a decent piece of tuna, it was well prepared and tasty. My friend had pizza. It was beautifully plated and smelled great. We had a really nice side dish. However, the food was very overpriced and the waiter was SO pushy about the alcohol. It was noon on a Wednesday!

Food OK, service bad. Arrived on time for reservation. Decibel level louder than a 747. Couple seated next to us had a woman with a low-cut top on, so they got attention constantly from our waiter. We were told they were out of Prime Rib, but, the couple next to us, who had ordered after us, got their Prime Rib...Imagine that....Waiter screwed up our bill, and charged us for dessert which we never received....After reducing the bill, he got a 1.00 tip from us. We surmised that if you park your Ferrari or BMW out front, you do get better service as we observed as we sat waiting for our meals....Wrote to S & W management, and they did send us a gift certificate and a set of steak knives, so they tried to make amends. We will try them again, but on an off-nite in the winter when everyone leaves their Ferraris inside.

To Rich for My Blood. Christmas Eve Dinner my wife and two kids went to S&W. Not all it is cracked up to be. The $40+ steak was good but that is about it, Brio accross the street has a better steak for half that. Service was okay but bothersome. Kids had the option of French Fries or French Fries. Food presentation was poor. A large slab of meat on a white plate.

Overpriced cafeteria. One would assume that S&W's premium prices would produce upper-eschelon food and service. Quite the contrary, a $30 filet is an unadorned slab of meat; the $6-8 sides are unsophisticated affairs drowning in butter. No sooner are the plates unceremoniously slapped on the table is one interrupted by the strident, repetitive questioning of the wait staff to remove them. I would sooner dine at a truck stop.

Food Factory. It's a place to visit to say you've been there, but otherwise it is a food factory that sells you more on their big city image than their overpriced menu. I'm convinced the seating and service are based on your appearence. I went there in a designer suit and was seated in a romantic area with hardwood walls and fireplace and received the best service ever. I went there in jeans and was seated in a room with the ambience of an Outback, next to children, and the service was so bad the manager actually took over for our waiter. The steak was some of the better steak in the area, but the sides were things like an $8.00 stick of steamed broccolli or a 1/4 head of lettuce. There are other places with equally good steak and much more originality than this chain restaurant.

Best Steak ! Best Service !. Wonderful meal with colleagues, and a special night out with family. Classy yet friendly room, attentive service replete with the little extras that make dining at S & W a memorable event.
