Romantic Date Night. My boyfriend took me there for our anniversary and it was amazing. The portions are pretty big so if you want a side dish I would suggest sharing. The service was outstanding and the decor is very low light chic. Ask NOT to be sat near the door though. You get interrupted by everyone coming and going.

Luscious Asian and French cuisine served in a stylish, upscale atmosphere with an impressive view.. The Scene
Impeccable service paired with an amazing view of the Scioto River makes this one of Columbus' swankiest and most sophisticated restaurants. The lavish dining area is decorated with light wood and state-of-the-art lighting. A central bar and outdoor terrace makes for interesting seating alternatives.

The Food
M offers a diverse menu that changes seasonally if not sooner. Find cuisines from classic French, such as the foie gras duet with brandied cherries and poached pear, to contemporary Asian, including Muscovy duck with duck pot stickers and coconut-curry sauce. Each dish is skillfully prepared using only the finest ingredients, sparing no detail. The wine list numbers in the hundreds with thousands of bottles in stock. Expect a collection of vintages that are as diverse as the menu.

Best Steak in a bowl anywhere. I love the atmosphere, and the service is amazing, I do have to say that it may be expensive, but hey this place is worth it

User review by chewtoy36. Went for my birthday dinner, the staff very warm friendly. The food!!! I had the filet and it was so tender and the lobster mashed potatoes!!!! I will definately be back there many more times to try out the rest of the menu. So hip and trendy. I am from San Francisco and this looks like it could be there.

saucy place with soft attitude. my husband and i went to m for our anniverary, we were very pleased. as we walked back to our table, we passed several tables seperated by flowy, sheer white curtains and a swank bar that had a flat screen tv and little art deco lights that changed colors. our table was also under the lights, so our food and wine were always changing colors...but very slowly and softly. the only thing about the decor were the chairs, too office-y, and some of the art on the walls were too hotelish. black or purple velvet chairs would have been better! food was sexy to eat....get the liquid chocolate cake.

Upscale, trendy and delicious!. M is an absolutely superb dining experience. The most upscale, and unquestionably, best restaurant of local restauranteur Cameron Mitchell offers diners in Columbus a very upscale, trendy and unique experience. Located in the lobby of the sophisticated and upscale Miranova Place, M boasts a comprehensive wine list, diverse offerings and a great after-work bar.

This restaurant adds a very cosmopolitan element to the Columbus social scene, and doesn't compromise the quality of food and service. Among my favorites on the menu include the lobser cone appetizer - a lobster-filled sesame cone adorned with caviar.

M is the perfect setting for a dinner, be it romantic, a gathering of friends or a business function. Every visit to M is a unique dining experience.

A Great Place. It was a great place to get back together with a friend, I hadn't seen in awhile. It was quiet on the patio, and we were able to have a great evening together. My friend felt at home, after she had been a way for awhile, and told me she had a great evening.

From NYC.... M is definitely one of the premiere restaurants our city has to offer. In fact, it is ahead of time in Columbus. Make sure to make a reservation, alerting the hostess to not seat you at the table near the front entrance. It feels as though you are eating in the lobby and it's next to the bus station. Definitely not what one would expect at an upscale restaurant. If you want a taste of the Big City in Little Columbus, then head to M in downtown Columbus.

Great Ambiance & Service, Good Food. I went to M on my birthday. We loved the decor, the food was very good (the crab cake appetizer - excellent) and service also very good. One bad thing - we got stuck with the table by the front door. Not that there was a draft or excessive noise but I did a walk around and noticed better/more private seating in the back. Lesson 1 - when making reservations ask for a table in the back. Also, M is located in the lobby of an office building and the restaurant bathrooms are in the lobby of the office building - they were clean but I thought that was weird.

everyone here is treated like royalty.... "M" is hands-down the best restaurant in Columbus. The service is flawless - I've dined in all of the "top 10" restaurants in Columbus & none come close. Chef Henshaw's menu & daily specials are incredible We are fortunate to have such a talent here in our city - His food would be rated #1 in any big city across the globe. It is not that expensice. Don't wait for a special occasion - try "M" just once - you will be amazed & anxious to return - as AM I!
