A vulgar place.
I paid a visit to Brandon's in Hilliard before a movie at the Movie Tavern with my two elementary school aged sons in hopes of picking up a couple of used games. We had been in the store less than a
minute when one of the employees described a game to another person as "Effing terrible" only he didn't say "Effing".
For an employee to use that language in any retail store, let alone a store with lots of kids as patrons is simply unacceptable.
Less than a minute is all I took to make sure I would never spend a dime at Brandon's.…
best video game store around here!. it awesome and i cant get enough of it! go there and see yourself .
WOW, what a change!. Looking for a welcome change? Go to Brandon's Video and see for yourself. Better inventory, knowledgable staff, great interior work (especially that carpet). Glad to see the improvements, great to see the addition of new games.…
Good Place to Go!. I was in the store a couple of weeks ago; new owners who helped me a lot. Let me try out some things on a Wii and were helpful answering questions. The owner was doing some work that should make the environment a lot nicer! New lights and I heard some painting and new carpet was going to be installed. Cool that they have game contests and are having a tournament soon! Check it out!…
Keep an eye on this one!. I recently visited Brandon's Video Game Exchange, and not with high expectations, the guy who owned the place shouldn't have been running a video game store. I'd only been there a few times, (to get discs resurfaced, since no one else does it) and the guy was exactly as the other reviews described him. However, to my suprise there was a kid there behind the counter. He told me someone else had bought the store from the old guy, and he was the new store manager. I think he said his name was Nick, or Mick or someting. Always being a fan of local business as opposed to the giant corporate chains ( I used to work at a gamestop, I hate that place now) I talked to the kid a while. He said they had big plans. They were working to get thier inventory up, especially on newer stuff, like 360, PS3 and Wii, and even made mention of possibly buying brand new games, and not selling strictly used games. Thier inventory is already better than last time I was here, this will be a store to watch. The kid knows what he's talking about too, we talked about all kinds of games, and he actually had played most of them, not like the old guy who had never picked up a controller. I'm excited to have a great local game store again.…
