I treat myself to a steak now and then.
This is the place I chose to indulge my craving. The staff, although young, was very friendly and personable. Baked Sweet Potato w/brown sugar and marshmallows... Yum!

Do not go to this restaurant.
Do not go to this restaurant unless you drive old, grandma car with nothing valuable in it. We have been in this place on 12/19/11 to eat a dinner. When we out the rest. our car window was broken and robbed everything. Somebody saw when the suspected car was leaving and let the restaurant management, but they just IGNORED it , didn't report to police. When we found out about it we asked help the manager to contact local police( since we have been from TN) and if there any surveillance camera he was so calm and acted as nothing happen and said "we have this thing happens very often" so BE AWARE TO GO TO EAT DINNER IN A SUCH HIGH CRIME LOCATION AND IGNORANT MANAGEMENT.

always makes it right for their customers.
I'm not a fan of steak houses personally, but being married to a big-time steak eater we go to steak houses quite often and this restaurant in this particular location has the best food by far. A slab of ribs, in particular, is superb; the meat is so tender that it will fall off the bones and melt in your mouth literally.

Great Ribs, Great Price.
The wait time is not too bad, you can call ahead and skip couple minutes of waiting. Once you do get seated, they bring out some home made rolls with cinnamon butter and a bucket of peanuts.
I have order the ribs with chicken twice and the prime rib once.
The price for both meals were about $15 each and I always take food home, you do get a lot much food.
I do recommend it 100%

Texas--themed barbecue chain provides carnivores with a family-friendly spot for a hand-cut steak or rack of tender ribs..
In Short
With dozens of locations spread across most of the country, this faux-roadhouse chain has become a dependable spot for families in search of a casual spot for affordable steaks and down-home comfort fare. The playful menu is dotted with kid-friendly titles (chicken "critters," "road kill" chopped sirloin) and options (add caramel and marshmallow to a baked sweet potato for a dollar). In-house hand-cut steaks come in a plethora of cuts and sizes.

A disaster.
After 3 visits, this is quite possibly the worst resturant in the city. Poor service, worse food. Long waits, even when not busy. Hot food arrives cold...cold food arrives warm. The immature staff is yelling and playing games. The "manager" is a teen-ager, and the rest of the staff is very unprofessional and disorginized. A terrible nightmare, which I will never visit again. Walk accross the street to the Outback.

Good Food at Great prices.
The flavor and the tenderness of the steaks were superb. The salad is excellent topped with a delicious house dressing and the salad portion was a very generous portion.
The sweet potatoes w/brown sugar/cinnamon was an excellent delicous alternative to the customary side dishes

Fried Country Steak Magnique.
I go here for the country fried steak, fantastic! Large protions, perfectly fried with fantastic gravy. Add the mashed potatoes (home made) and you have a meal to die for!! The bread tops it all off. A great place for casual dining
