Best junkyard in area. I read the other reviews on here and felt like posting my opinion..

Ive been to most the junkyards around this Pick N Pull, ive been to a lot since im always working on my vehicles, lol anyway this is the only one i know of that has a huge pre determined price list hanging on the wall, 2 of them on both sides of the building in english and spanish. The review above is a lil retarded. You know what your gonna pay for the parts as soon as you walk in so your not suprised at the registers.

The parts do not seen prices higher than others to me, the others look at the part and make up a price usually, " that looks new 80 bucks, or that starter looks old and beat up, 20 bucks'", you know, I guess i dont look like a mechanic when i go into these places cuz they try to overcharge me a lot, cantleys included.

Also, this place has a huge gravel lot with every car off the ground, They are kept in nice rows, categorized into groups by make, the other ones in area are not. Plus they have a great database of parts interchange they can print out every vehicle that has the part you need. I know this is always the first junkyard i go to, i only call another if i cant find what i need here, with does not happen often

horrible customer service. I called to get a price on my unwanted vehicle, the 1st guy I spoke with was VERY helpful. I set up a time to have my car picked up which was the same day. Later in the day I get confirmation phone call with the WRONG time and WRONG DAY, BUT she assured me that she made changes to the notes and that the car would be picked up between 2 and 6. 5pm rolls around and my gut told me that they were NOT coming.. I called to check the status and the lady guy told me that I wasnt scheduled for today but he would get someone there by the end of the business day. I get ANOTHER phone call, she tells me they will not be able to make it out but she will have someone here by 8am the following day. guess what?? its 8:30 and still no one. HA! So I called again this morning to be told, I am scheduled for 12. I told them that once AGAIN thats not what I agreed too, After speaking to 2 more people.. now Im told that the was stuck in traffic and that he should be here soon. Not only do they not know what they are doing with scheduling theyre not even the slightest bit apologetic. In fact, she spoke to me as if I am bothering her. I hope other people out there have had a better experience than I have. If they are not here with in the next 20 mins, I will be canceling and using another service.

The Rich Man's Junkyard (far too expensive, avoid it). AVOID THIS JUNKYARD. Find a REAL, local junkyard. This is a national chain that charges far more than a real junkyard. They charged me $125 for a handful of parts I definitely could have gotten from another yard for $60. If I didn't NEED the parts RIGHT then after a couple hours of working to pull them, I would have told them to shove them up their ass, and gone somewhere else, and re-pulled them. They charge prices in excess of what you can get from other yards that will pull them FOR YOU. They are obviously a nation-wide, money grubbing business that just has good marketing.

I recommend going to Cantley's which is like 10 minutes away from Pick-n-Pull, or any other central Ohio junkyard that's not a national chain. Unlike Pick-n-Pull, who try to cut costs at every corner and jack up sale prices to squeeze every ounce of profit they can, the Cantley's junkyard will actually ANSWER THE PHONE instead of only letting you listen to a stupid machine - and they will tell you if they have your car and typically if they have the parts you want. On top of this, the last time I was there I got more valuable parts for a previous car than I got at Pick-n-Pull for this recent car, and they only charged me like $50.

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE SWINE FLU. Go to a REAL local junkyard. This is a national chain that charges WAY too much for parts. Can't find your parts at a local junkyard? Save up a little more and just buy them from Napa then. I'm serious.
