More Salty than my balls after a run. This is the day after and my wife and I are still feeling unwell after eating there. The service was fine but it seems that the chief loves salt because the steaks, veg and potatos were covered with it. I can see now why it was mostly empty on a week night.
Longest dinner ever. Slow service, cold food, overdone steak, gave me the wrong dessert to go, didn't find out til I got home, seated 40 min after our reservation
AMAZING. In town on business- had dinner at the bar- lovely, warm, relaxing environment on a quiet Tuesday evening- Perfect dirty martini, friendly knowledgable bar tender- petite filet cooked to a PERFECT Medium- whole experience was highly enjoyable. I will defnitely return and highly recommend.
Great customer service!. I actually should have written months ago. I don't even live in Columbus, I was there for a business trip in January. The food was fine and the atmosphere was great. I remember chatting with the waitress (don't know her name, just know she was a petite dark-haired pretty girl with a pony tail). Before ordering, I chatted with her about the difference between the scallop and chicken dish. I finally ordered scallop, but my order came as chicken. I didn't think that's a big deal as I was hungry and just wanted to finish dinner soon and get back to the hotel, and that made sense since we chatted about scallop and chicken beforehand anyway. But then she realized that she brought me the wrong order, and came to my table to apologize. She told me to pick a dessert that I like and it's going to be on her to make up for the mistake. When I was done with my dessert and going to pay for my meal, she told me, "You're all set!" so she didn't even charge me for the main dish and she insisted. Oh my! I've never experienced such treatment even in Seattle where I come from. Best of compliment to this restaurant and the way they treat their customers.
Nice atmosphere. Food was done well. The side portions are huge and are an acent themsleves. If you get a side it serves two to three easily. Atmosphere was romantic, but a bit on the cold side. Wear long sleves.
Dark wood, soft lighting and comfy seating make bar hopping a romantic experience at this late-night stop..
In Short
Bar tables are nestled in two raised corners for sharing more private conversations, libations and fare. A gaslit fireplace surrounded by soft chairs or banquette seating at linen-clad bistro tables add more options to the traditional bar stools lining the roomy main dining room. After the chef quits turning out the steaks for the evening, there are still hefty burgers, Caesar salads and full bar service.
