Worst haircut ever

I went to Andrea at the Polaris location and will not ever return. After waiting over 15 minutes past my appointment time, she finally acknowledged me.

I brought in a very clear picture of what I wanted. After discussing it, she assured me she could do the cut. After she finished, I looked in the mirror and it was the same cut she had always done on me, no difference! (I usually get long layers) I told her that it looked NOTHING like the picture. (The cut I wanted was very layered all over, shorter layers on top) After huffing and puffing, showing me that she was obviously upset with my unhappiness, she proceeded to cut my hair again; but all she did was lift up the top layers and cut those without blending them into the longer layers. So I ended up with this "step" in my hair that made it very difficult to style for the many months it took to grow out. I feel she half-assed it and didn't listen to me, much less pay attention to the picture I brought in. i was afraid to ask her to do it again for fear I would end up even more screwed up! My hair was well within the limits of creating the cut. I will never go back there again; no one apologized to me and I just felt she was irritated with me when I left. Sorry, but if I'm paying $55 for a haircut, I want it to be RIGHT and I deserve the service I paid for. Never again, I have never had a fantastic cut from Kenneth's- I started going to Charles Penzone's and they far exceed Kenneth's level of "service". Give Penzone's a try- they are always on time with your appointments and they treat you like their only customer. Plus, the stylists really listen to you and make sure you are thrilled with what you receive. I just got the best cut of my life at Penzone's!!!

Avoid this salon!

I scheduled an appointment with Luci. The front desk staff was a little snobby with me, they were not the friendliest. I was supposed to go in at 1:15pm but she wasn't able to cut my hair until about a half hour later. Then, she washed and cut my hair. She was nice enough, but then she left me under a hair dryer for OVER AN HOUR!! There is no reason to have a machine dry my hair for that long and I have never had that done by anyone ever before. She left me sitting there for that long- then brought me back to her station to ask how I liked my cut. She didn't even style it! She was obviously over booked or didn't care about me. Definitely horrible service.

Horrible haircut, decent color

They opened a new salon in Grove City a few months ago and I went to a male stylist - I believe his name was Ron (?)

Anyway, the color turned out pretty good, but I hated the haircut. I took a picture and was very specific on the best way to cut my hair. He said that he could achieve the look by doing it another way. It didn't resemble the picture at all and was a really sloppy, shabby haircut. AND, it was really expensive, too.

Never again.
