Pricey, quality depends on what you order.... The original Max and Erma's downtown, (before it was sold the 1st time) was one of the best places in town to eat hands down. It was eventually sold to the Corporate world and with that came items that had no business on the menu. The original items on the menu were also changed so they should have changed the name because the restaurant you are eating at now is NOT Max and Erma's and never will be again. The new corporation that took over is an improvement. The veggie burger with guacamole and pico salsa is to die for. It's awesome, but I ordered a steak and broccoli on my next visit and the steak was so dry it was inedible and the broccoli was WAY over cooked. They need to go back to the original Bakery buns that the original Max and Erma's had and get rid of the hard thick roll they have on the burgers now. The 10oz burger needs to be brought back. It tastes the best. People can cut it in half if they don't like the size. If they want to update, they need to think brown rice and whole grains. But the awesome veggie burger is a good start.
