My fiance and I are getting married June 1. We ordered one of our wedding bands from them and were told they would be ready in 3 weeks. 4.5 weeks later we still have not heard from them so I stopped in to check on the progress. They said the order was still there and the rings not in yet, could take a few days to a few more weeks! My wedding is at this point in 4 days! Way to put a bride in panic days before her wedding!
Presented with my two teenage girls to
exchange the $50 gift certificates each had received at Christmas. The girls were both excited and looking forward to the shopping experience. When we arrived we were greeted by a male employee who, when he heard what we were shopping for simply stated "look around" and proceeded to sit down and ignore both me and the girls. The attitude was such that we were beneath his standard of concern and customer care. Perhaps because I was unshaven and in a hooded sweatshirt the assumption was made by him that we were unworthy to be there, and this was how the girls felt. I am a practicing DDS and do not feel the need to show off my degree. I certainly found the lack of welcome in this store to be unprofessional.
To make matters worse, while the girls were trying to find something on their own, and most of the merchandise is priced so the tags are not visible, a lady of well-to-do appearance arrived and got this employees undivided attention, while he still ignored my girls. The only saving grace was the lady who came to the rescue of my younger teen, and was extremely helpful and patient in helping her find something. It did not take long after she came to the counter too complete the transaction. But it is a shame that the girls and me were initially made to feel unwelcome at best, as well as unworthy to be in the store and trouble the man representing this establishment. I would not recommend this place for the lack of custumer service and demeaning attitude portrayed. Shop at Mid Ohio Diamond and Gold, just East of Cleveland on Morse Rd. They treat you like you are important. Boooo to Heins.
Great Prices. I just got some work done on my wedding band, and decided to look around. I found a awesome diamond necklace, and feel in love. They gave me such a great price, that I couldn't say no. Thanks, I will be doing all my business with Heins!!!!!!
good service. just had a battery changed ------- very quick service ---------even got a warranty with it
Nothing special-rude attitude. I found the staff to be rather rude, won't return.
Professional. I have been a long time customer of Heins Jewelers. I have nothing but great things to say about their professionalism and service. I have purchased many items from them with total satisfaction. They are the only jewelers I trust with my most valued items. I have had rings sized and jewelry repaired. I have had jewelry custom made. I have been COMPLETELY happy with everything. I recommed Heins Jewelers to all my friends.
Great People!.
I have taken all of my jewelry to Heins Jewelers for repair. I don't let anyone but Heins Jewelers change my batteries on my watches anymore. I've learned my lesson.
Bert and David have sized rings for me, repaired watches - too many to remember. They always greet me with a smile and tell me honestly whether or not something is worth fixing. I trust them completely.
I have a finicky watch that makes me crazy...Bert and David even know how to finesse that nutty thing because they know how much I love that watch.
Super, friendly, reliable service is always given by them.
Great Customer Service. Just had some jewelry resized - Cannot say enough about the service I received. Very professional staff that make you feel welcome when you are in the store. They do not hound you or put pressure on you.
dishonesty at its worst. a day ago my daughter a pickerington resident was at children's hospital her son was being operated on. while at the hospital her home was being robbed by her daughter's boyfriend. the worst thing was that he took the jewrly down to heins jewlers to sell. they gladly bought a lifetime collection from the thief. and instead pf calling the police they immediatly melted all the rings down and plucked all the diamonds out. they must have known these were someone's treasures so to hide the dirty deed they tried to hide the rings. all my daughters rings, my deceased mother's ring, many beautiful rings i had given her all destroyed by heins jewlers. so when you buy from them, know that your probroly buying stolen diamonds and hurting your neighbors. what is wrong with the laws that protect these business's if i were to buy stolen items i would be in jail. somehow they are excempt. doesn't anyone have common sense anymore. had they just called the police we atleast would have had the chance to buy the rings back. but they immediatly melted them down and plucked all the diamonds out. is this the way to treat honest people. is this the way to run a business. most honest people would not want to wear their neighbors stolen heirlooms. they say they did nothing worong.
Bottom of the barrel.
My wife had taken a Gucci watch in to have the battery replaced. They took so long working on the watch that she asked if there was a problem. The younger male, (craig)? replied saying that he was having a problem opening the watch and had to give it to David Heins who was more experienced... She received and paid for the watch and went on her way. Twenty minutes later she noticed that the crystal was scratched and the bezel had been chipped... On returning to the store, the manager (David) denied he or his assistant caused the damage and forced her out of the store... I returned to the store the next day and was told that no one had damaged the watch. So I asked to speak to the owner (Bert Heins), who was not in the store at the time. I did speak to him by phone the next day. He told me not to bring the watch back so that he could inspect it because he had talked to his employees and they were not reponsible for the damages... We were left totally unsatisfied with their so called " A Jeweler You Can Trust" motto.
