The ladies there were friendly, but the service was horrible. They said it would be a 15 minute wait and it was more like a half hour. When I sat down (in the VERY comfortable chair) the water was cold - they had tor drain the foot tub - then the water leaked out so they had to add more water. You expect pedi's to be relaxing - she let my feet soak for less than 5 minutes then went at it. Which is fine - however she seemed put out when she asked me if I wanted my nails trimmed and said yes. She barley scrubbed my feet to remove any rough skin (my feet are no smoother now after the pedi. She did not clip my cuticles, clean under the nails and did not buff them to smooth them out either. When I asked her if she was going to do that so told me that they couldn't do that any more because it is against the law now. I feel like they were trying to rush me out - even though I was 1 of 2 people there by the end. Which by the way -- from the time I sat in the chair until she was shooing me out the door, was a total of 22 minutes!! I will never go there again and will tell every woman that I know to not go there because it is NOT worth the $32.00 that she charged me. It was outrageous. I could of have done it better myself at home. It was a real disappointment since I am a graduate student and this was a real splurge for me - it was supposed to be a nice relaxing treat for myself and now I am just mad that I wasted my money.

The girls that work at Illusion Nails are a nice and rambunctious group. My friend and I had reservations, and the place was busy when we arrived. We did seem to get bumped ahead of one or two people waiting, and one girl started both of us while we waited for another to finish. The service was very hurried and not particularly relaxing as I felt like they were just trying to get me out the door. My mani lasted only about 2 days before chipping and although my pedi fared better, I feel like I could have done a better job myself. Also, they didn't trim my toenails, let alone file them. My nails got only a cursory filing and no buffing to even out the ridges. While the prices are pretty cheap I would rather pay a few extra dollars for much better service elsewhere. I won't go back again.

Cons: Hurried service, bad mani pedis
