Columbus >Illusion Nails
Fabulous!!! I just had a pedicure from Illusion Nails and it was the best! A friend recommended this salon to me. I usually go to another salon but this time I took the recommendation. Wow! Great experience. I will definitely be a regular customer at this place.
their pedicure chair is so good love the nail tech they so fun , wonderful place to relax after long week
great pedicure. I was referred to Illusion nails Nails from my hair stylist. She said that she had gone for a pedicure and gave it rave reviews. I have always been insecure about having someone see how bad my feet look...but I went anyway. I didn't have an appointment but they do accept walk-ins. I was seated in a massage chair (wonderful...chiropractic session while getting my feet in shape...who knew?!?) and Sarah started in on my feet. As embarrassed as I was about the way my feet looked...Sarah was very professional...and made me feel so comfortable. By the time Sarah was done, I was so proud to show my tootsies off in flip-flops (don't think I didn't...I went and picked-up my daughter and showed everyone that would look....and I have cute feet once taken care of...). What is even more incredable...the pedicure has lasted for 3-weeks. I am planning on going back today and taking my daughter...she is three and will think it is pretty cool to sit with me. She needs polish and will love having someone as nice as Sarahdo it for her.
These ladies are the best!!!. I have been going to this salon for years!!! Let me just tell you about some of my experiences. Whenever, I break a nail, I walk in and they fix it immediately for FREE! To prepare for my wedding, they opened their salon EARLY and brought in extra staff to give me and my bridesmaids mani/pedis. They saw me through both my pregnancies making sure my nails always looked nice. They have given me little Christmas gifts each year to show how much they appreciate my business. Last week I went in for a balance and they had a baby gift for me. They had bought me a jumbo box of Pampers Swaddlers for the new baby! I can't tell you how thoughtful these women are...and they have ALWAYS done a nice job on my nails! Which is why I have remained a loyal custumer for 5 years +!!For those who have been dissatisfied with their experience, I'm sorry. It has always been MY experience that they will fix anything you are not completely happy with and at no charge. If you feel that you were rushed, simply make a phone call to schedule an appointment...they are totally accomodating! Quite frankly, in this economy, I love to see them BUSY!! I would be very upset if this salon had to shut its doors!!!!!!!
Service was fine!. I had my first service after going to a few nail shops and having terrible service. I am not picky so I did not have much of an issue. I waited about 20 minutes while the girls were working on their clients. I was getting a balance and it was a lot better than the previous places. The girls did a great job. I will be returning. I have pictures of my nails and they were perfect!!! I have no complaints.
Worst Pedi I've ever had. When I arrived, the woman filled the washtub and immediately started working on my feet. She didn't bother to let my feet soak. And the cleanup of my feet was completely cursory. They hardly removed any dead skin from my heels and didn't put down a base coat of clear polish which is standard at ever other nail spa I've been to. DO NOT GO HERE. These guys don't give a damn about their service.
WORST PEDICURE EVER!.
The ladies there were friendly, but the service was horrible. They said it would be a 15 minute wait and it was more like a half hour. When I sat down (in the VERY comfortable chair) the water was cold - they had tor drain the foot tub - then the water leaked out so they had to add more water. You expect pedi's to be relaxing - she let my feet soak for less than 5 minutes then went at it. Which is fine - however she seemed put out when she asked me if I wanted my nails trimmed and said yes. She barley scrubbed my feet to remove any rough skin (my feet are no smoother now after the pedi. She did not clip my cuticles, clean under the nails and did not buff them to smooth them out either. When I asked her if she was going to do that so told me that they couldn't do that any more because it is against the law now.
I feel like they were trying to rush me out - even though I was 1 of 2 people there by the end. Which by the way -- from the time I sat in the chair until she was shooing me out the door, was a total of 22 minutes!! I will never go there again and will tell every woman that I know to not go there because it is NOT worth the $32.00 that she charged me. It was outrageous. I could of have done it better myself at home. It was a real disappointment since I am a graduate student and this was a real splurge for me - it was supposed to be a nice relaxing treat for myself and now I am just mad that I wasted my money.
Just by the price and description clearly you have never been to this shop. You sound more like a competitor trying to give a bad review...
Nice people, bad mani pedis. The girls that work at Illusion Nails are a nice and rambunctious group. My friend and I had reservations, and the place was busy when we arrived. We did seem to get bumped ahead of one or two people waiting, and one girl started both of us while we waited for another to finish. The service was very hurried and not particularly relaxing as I felt like they were just trying to get me out the door. My mani lasted only about 2 days before chipping and although my pedi fared better, I feel like I could have done a better job myself. Also, they didn't trim my toenails, let alone file them. My nails got only a cursory filing and no buffing to even out the ridges. While the prices are pretty cheap I would rather pay a few extra dollars for much better service elsewhere. I won't go back again.
