This was our first AND ONLY trip to Mi Mexico II. There were 4 adults in our party. Only one entree of the 4 was edible and it was not what he had ordered. He ate it anyway, because it took so long to get our meals that we were ravenous. The waitress took his order from the opposite end of the table when there was a loud din (we could hardly talk to each other), so she did not understand his order. One entree was for Tamales (shown on the menu wrapped in corn shucks. The tamales were horrible.They had no mexican seasoning flavor, so bland it tasted like just meat rolled in corn meal. She sent hers back and ordered instead the jalapeno poppers. No one at our table could eat them either. The next entree was Chilaquiles Mexicanos. It was described as "corn tontillas cooked with chicken in our special mild red sauce topped with melted cheese and served with mexican rice and guacamole salad". (She ordered beans in place of rice). The meal was all dumped together on the platter in a sea of sauce. It was so soggy it was like trying to eat slimy soup. Ugh! The 3rd entree was Quesadilla Vegetarian. I requested no mushrooms. The entree was so dry and tasteless that I poured quite a bit of salsa on it to attempt to eat it. I could not eat it. We complained about the entire meal and asked to speak with the manager. She said we didn't lke them because they were something we had never tried before. No offer was made to replace nor discount any of the entrees. There was only one entree eaten out of the four. The 'manager' refunded part of one entree, the one that was sent back. Mexican is usually one of our favorite type of restaurant, but we certainly will not be back to Mi Mexico !!!

This place rocks! The food is unbelievable and the ambience is great (real fire, great decorations). The only problem was it seemed they had too few waiting staff so it sometimes seems to take a while to get service.
