The Scene
Inside the Great Indoors, there are rows of bathtubs, lamps and curtains as far as the eye can see. The objective of the chain's founders was to create a space in which everything one needs for home decorating and improvement is available. They succeeded not only in putting all the merchandise in one place, but in setting up both sensible and less sensible sample bathrooms, bedrooms and other living spaces.
The Goods
Beds, cabinet knobs, towels, home entertainment centers and mailboxes all range from the average-priced to the high end. One wall may display several ordinary bathtubs, but every line of products has a few extremely decadent options, like a jacuzzi, steam shower and entertainment center combo.
